Unknow POV:
------------------------------Coming to the edge between life and death could almost be described as a sensation. The start of a tingle at the tips of your fingers, to the pulling pressure behind your eyes. The sensation builds up until finaly your over the edge into an unknown bliss.
Sometimes I look back to the storys told by our elders that we would never feel the sensation. There was no death to be afraid of, or even the thought of breaking away. We were just here.
I don't remember the impact of my head hitting the soil, or even how I got there, but I knew why. Many people have said, "You never know what you have until you've lost it". Knowing what was going to happen, I don't think I could ever bare the thought of loosing her. She was my light, and I would do everything in my power to keep her aflame.
At the ripe age of five she has grown up. And when I start to think about all the "what ifs" in life, it made me truly think about how greatful I was to to have her, and all of the things I wish I could have given to her.
So yes, the edge was near. And I did feel a senstion. One more than anything I could have ever asked for, or even thought I would feel. One that in this world, I never thought would be possible.
Laying here, feeling the rough grip of a hand on my wing, I knew this sensation.
This sensation, the right I was dying for, was love.
