For the sake of the plot in this story Hogwarts is 9 years long for everyone, first years are 11-12 years old and 9th years (last year) are 19-20 years old, the main characters are on year 7 which means they are 17-18.
The story doesn't follow most of Harry Potter storyline but the characters will show up here.
