Shining Maelstrom in the Darkness. CH 1

Burning, that's all he could see.... fire surrounded the village, or what remained of it. Naruto stood shakily, his right hand holding his stomach in which less than ten hours ago he sealed the rest of the Bijuu and Kaguya the rabbit goddess. His black and grey jacket was singed and his black shirt with the Uzumaki swirl was torn around the stomach. In his left hand he held a strange blade he'd had gotten after his training trip with Jiraiya. It was a strange foreign blade that was a slightly curved 24" blade. Across from him wearing a light purple top, purple hakama with a dark purple rope as a belt and a pair of black pants and black ninja shoes. He had ashen black hair that was neck length and the back of his hair looked like the ass of a duck. He had an empty left eye socket and the other was bleeding with his MG sharingan blazing. Sasuke was staring at the smaller blade that Naruto had dropped with his eye in half near it on the ground. "You took my power from me Dobe." Sasuke said angrily, his body shaking with rage. Naruto shook his head as he stood up taking his hand off his stomach. "I took nothing from you. You did that to yourself, you went to Orochimaru yourself. You betrayed Konoha and attempted to kill Itachi. I'm glad that I saved him and gave him what he deserved. Then you pretend to come back just to use us to get rid of Obito and the rest of the Akatsuki, I didn't believe it for a second. I'm so happy that I was able to stop another Uchiha from taking over this world. Now we're going to end this!" He said as he held his blade in front of him while Sasuke used his Chokuto to try and slice the blond. Sasuke growled and said with a vindictive smile. "I'm just glad that I killed that Sand whore of yours, glad that I could cause you just a bit of pain before I kill you!" Naruto kicked him back and held his hand up in the air as he focused water, lightning and wind chakra into a rasengan he called the RaseNaruto. He launched forward the force of the technique shredding Sasuke's sword to pieces along with his arm and then the rest of the Treacherous Uchiha's body. But as the energy hit his head the Sharingan flashed a technique. Naruto winced as he dropped to one knee and put his good hand to his chest where his heart really was. One of the bits of Sasuke's Chokuto hit him where his heart was. Aside from that, the skin of his arm was shredded and burnt in spots. He tried to lift it but couldn't even when the bijuu tried to give him some of their chakra. Naruto fell to the ground as his vision began to blur.

When he opened them he was at the feet of a woman. She was smiling gently at him. "Naruto-kun, I'm sorry you had to die so soon. I'm sorry about Temari as well I really am." a second woman replied. "It's my fault really. Those damned Uchiha and their eyes. Aside from a small handful, the whole clan was rotten to the core." Naruto gasped as he looked up into the face of Kami. He turned to the other voice and that was Yami. He stammered for a moment and said. "So I'm dead? It's over?" the two gods looked at each other and Yami bit her lip. "not really. For your friends and the rest of the shinobi world it is. But you're not done yet. We need your help." Kami said softly, helping him stand. Naruto looked between the two and said. "What am I needed for if I'm dead? I know I can't go back now." another voice answered him. "You're not going back to the elemental nations. Your soul and consciousness will be transferred into another version of you in a different reality. We need to hurry because our chance to transfer the hero's soul into the body is slipping." Kami and Yami both nodded to the figure who wore traditional japanese formal clothes and had a mask on their face. "shinigami." Naruto let out and the figure let out a chuckle. "Yes, now Naruto all of the knowledge you'll need about the world will be in your mind along with memories of the other Naruto's life. All we can tell you about what you're needed for is that it could be an extinction level event." Naruto's vision became blurry again before Yami giggled and said. "Bye bye Naruto-kun! Enjoy going through puberty again!"

Naruto's eyes opened and he looked around and said raspily. "I feel like I got into a fight with ten gorillas." a female voice then replied. "A semi-truck and a bunch of shrapnel in your arm feels like only ten Sochi?" Naruto turned to his left and said. "Kaa-chan?!"
