Kile and Eadlyn

Chapter 2

Eadlyn POV
Great. Just great. Our wedding anniversary is today and the rebels are attacking. I look like an Oompa Loompa "running" to the safe room.
I walked as fast as I could because the rebels were on the other side of the palace, and I was pregnant.
"Are you sure you don't want me to carry you?" Kile asked while we ran/walked through the hallways.
"We're almost there. I think I can pull through," I replied.
"Okay, but if you need me to I'll gladly help," he said.
I smiled. "Thank you, Kile."
We finally reached the safe room. I looked around, and I saw a good number of people were there. I sat down on a bed, and Kile plopped down next to me.
Mom and Dad come by us.
"Why are they attacking now?" I asked them.
"I don't know, but I intend to find out. I'll get in touch with August soon," Dad answers. "Oh, and I also have a gift for you. I'll give it to you tonight."
"What is it?"
"You'll find out," he says, smiling.
A guard came down to tell us that the rebels were out of the palace, and everyone left the room.
"I'm going to go to the hospital wing," I said to Kile.
"I'll come with."
Together we walked.
I still haven't gotten over the feeling I get with him. It's indescribable. That was the feeling of true love.
When we finally got there, I saw that no one was there except for a few nurses.
"No one got hurt?" I asked one of them.
"Surprisingly. They must have not been as bad this time."
I nodded and turned my back when I saw something move down the hallway. And that something was wearing a rebel uniform.

Sorry my chapters have been short. I'll write a longer one next chapter. This story will have wayyy more chapters than my last one. I'll try to write a new chapter every few days. Also, can you guys give me some feedback in the comments? I want to know what I can improve on to make this story better.
