Narlornawm pronounced- Narlor na-wm
The forest of Pandora holds many dangers, but the most dangerous thing about Pandora... is that you may grow to love her too much. We sing the song cords to remember. Each bead is a story in our life. A bead for the birth of our son.
"Neteyam!" Jake announces to the clan as he holds the baby boy up in the air.
And one for our daughter, who was a surprise to us.
"Narlornawm!" Neytiri announces, holding her daughter up for the clan to see the first-ever set of twins for the Na'vi.
The Navi people then repeat after the new parents, "Neteyam, Narlornawm!"
A bead when we adopted our daughter, Kiri. Born of Grace's Avatar. A daughter whose conception was a total mystery.
Jake and Neytiri sit near a small fire. Jake holds Neteyam in his arms, with Narlornawm sitting in between her mother and father. As her mother holds Kiri in her arms. Narlornawm had always done things first. She held her head up by herself first, rolled over first, and now sat up by herself first. Neteyam grabbed onto Jake's finger with his whole fist. Jake looked down at his son with pure love and pride for his child.
Jake had just laid a sleeping Neteyam and almost asleep Narlornawm down for the night. Their daughter began moving her head from left to right at a steady pace. Her body had become rigid. Jake calls out for Neytiri, she comes quickly to her mate with Kiri in her arms. The two each tried to wake her by speaking to her.
"Narlor," Neytiri calls, waking Kiri, who was asleep in her arms. Jake calls next when the sweet girl hadn't responded to her mother.
"Narlonawm," he says in a deep tone of voice before grabbing her shoulders and shaking them slightly. When he called out in a deep tone of voice, Neteyam, who was sleeping next to his sister, woke up and looked around, confused.
Soon her body relaxes, and her eyes begin to open. She looks confused and then looks at her mom and touches her stomach, that was still flat and looks into her mom's eyes with a smile on her lips.
Her vision was of a baby boy being born; she was going to be a big sister once more. Neytiri looks at Jake, and they silently decide to talk to Neytiri's mother to see what was going on with their oldest daughter.
But it was late, and they all needed to get sleep. Jake and Neytiri soothe their children back to sleep before making it to their space and laying together. "I think she sees," Neytiri says in a hushed tone as she lays her head on his chest. Jake wasn't sure what that exactly meant and didn't want to think about the possibility of something being wrong with one of his evi.
The next day, the family of Sulley's made their way to the children's grandmother. After explaining what happened the night before, the grandmother walks over to the eldest daughter. Mo'at moves to Neytiri and places a hand over her stomach with her eyes closed. Before long, her eyes open again, and she speaks in a calm tone, "You are with child". Neytiri and Jake link eyes. "Eywa has blessed us again," Jake says happily before kissing Neytiri on the cheek.
