"Are we there yet?"

"No"

"We've been in this dumb car for like 10 hours"

"Your just exaggerating" My older brother Nick tells me, rolling his eyes.

Exaggerating? Are you kidding me?

"We've seriously been in here for 10 hours Nick!" I'm frustrated now because I hate car rides.

"And we are finally in California now so you can calm down"

I sighed. He was right. Me and my family are moving to California. And 10 hours in a car with the most annoying siblings in the world can make you turn into an actual hulk.

"I don't get why we didn't just take a plane. Would've been much easier" I mutter.

Nick just ignored my comment and turned up the car speakers. Wow. I guess it's ignore Briella day..

We had finally arrived at our new house in California. And to tell you the truth, I was in love with it. It was literally the biggest and nicest house we have lived in yet.

"Woah" I say once we step out of our car looking at our new house.

"This house is amazing" my little sister Krystal, and little brother Eric say at the same time, in sync.

Eric and Krystal are twins and they did not get along. At all.
Everyday they made me want to pull my hair out because of all the stress they cause me. That's how frustrated they make me. They argued all the time. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Like come on, they're 15. They were close when they were little but when they started getting older, Krystal started to become different and she started to get into make-up, and went shopping daily. I mean I didn't mind, but Eric is a boy. Of course I wasn't obsessed with that stuff as much as her though. Eric didn't like being around  that so he started to hangout with me and Nick more.

"I call first dibs on rooms!" I shout running into the house as fast as I can while I hear my siblings running closely behind me.

I get into the house first. Which I am surprised because Nick is way more faster than me and I'm pretty sure that since I'm clumsy I would have tripped. Which happened a couple of times to me might I add.

"Briella don't you dare lock the doo-!" Nick yells but I don't let him finish because I close the door and lock it. VICTORY.

I hear a bunch of knocks on the door. All from my siblings. I also hear a couple of shouts and yells but I can't really make out the words they are saying. And I'm 99.9 percent sure they were all cursing at me.

I quickly run up the stairs and enter the first room I see. It definitely looked like the best room there. It was a huge room, I have to admit. But the main reason why I liked it was because it had its own bathroom and a huge walk-in closet that I adored. I was in love with it. And this was defiantly the room. I looked in some of the other rooms and they all kinda looked like mine, except maybe a little smaller.

^*^*^*^

I open the door to Nick sitting on the porch steps looking beyond pissed off, Eric also sitting on the porch steps looking bored yet quite entertained by the look on Nicks face, and Krystal that's on her phone. Like always.

"You guys can come in now" I try to restrain a laugh because they were all giving death glares. I gulped.

"It's about time Briella, I'm really about to strangle you, but your so damn lucky I'm not going to because mom told me to be the responsible one" Nick said shooting me a glare before he walked inside.

You see, that's what I hate. My mom left Nick to take care of us. Like all the time. It really wasn't her choice though, she's a brain surgeon so she's always at work. She didn't like the salary she was getting at her old hospital, so she made us move to California where she would get paid a lot more. The thing that I hated the most was that we never got to see her. And whenever she was home, she was always too tired and stressed out to do anything. Weekends are always my favorite though, because that's when my mom is totally free and we get to spend a lot of time with her.

We all walk in the house and look around. Astonished by how nice the house was, outside and inside.

When we all picked out our rooms, we finally started taking boxes out of the moving truck. It was only then that I realized Nick has been gone for a while. After he picked out his room, he just kinda disappeared. I don't even know where he could've taken off to.

I had at least two boxes on my arms and to be honest, they were quite heavy. I was struggling to get to the front door until it quickly gets ruined when something icy cold gets spilled all over my body. I drop the boxes and stand there freezing with drenched clothes. I turn around to see a stupid Nick standing there with a bucket of water in his hands, that is now empty. He's laughing historically, which makes me want to kill him more.

"You think this funny?" I say with gritted teeth.

Nick is taking gasps of air, while holding his stomach. After he kinda sobers up he finally starts talking. "Well yeah. You deserved it. Locking us out for about 10 minutes was uncalled for, and I'm really impatient. You know that. It pissed me off, so I had to get you back"

Remember how I was talking about just turning into an actual hulk? Well let's say that I let the hulk out and tackled Nick to the ground, (trust me, it wasn't easy) punching him endlessly. He knew he couldn't do anything because he knows that I would tell mom. Payback is a bitch Nick.
