An Unusual Time at Ninjago High School

We Are So Dead...Right?

Melody POV

Lloyd was silent for a while. But then the silence was broken when the building starts to fall apart and we scream as rubble falls all around us. "Get out of the way, this whole thing is coming down!" Jay yelled. He ducks under the stool. 

"Ugh, we're so dead. Dead, I tell you, dead!" I screamed.

"What are we gonna do?" Cole asked. "We don't have those pieces!" "Yeah, we don't even have our mechs!" Kai yelled. "We're doomed!" The rest of the ninja attempt to take shelter under the furniture. I could see that Lloyd was standing still, not moving, Kai, Cole, and Zane were hugging together under another table in fear, and Nya had come over to Jay. I do so too. We all held on tight to each other, as the temple continues to collapse.

"Oh no, we're gonna die!" Kai screamed.

"What do we do?" Cole asked

"Our chances of survival are zero point zero, zero..." Zane said. While Zane was saying our chances of survival, I could see that Lloyd was thinking of something. Why was he not hiding with us?

"'Inner peace'?" I heard Lloyd mumble to himself. What was he thinking? Suddenly, I could see that he got an idea. 

"'Inner piece', inner piece! Guys! Guys, we don't need those pieces!" Lloyd yelled. "The Ultimate Ultimate Weapon is inside of you!"

"What?!" We all yelled. 

"You're not making any sense!" I said. "Garmadon has it!"

"No, the power of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon is inside all of you!" Lloyd said. "You have the power! Look within. Harness what you already have inside and let it out! I believe in each of you! Nya, you can create water. Kai? You can make fire."

"Okay. Alright, I can make fire." Kai said. We nodded, so we got out of our hiding spots and did the excercises we did in the jungle, trying to harness our power,"

"The power is inside of all of you." Lloyd encouraged us. "Now calm your mind, concentrate, build up your power. Just think about Earth! Fire! Water! Ice! And you, Jay! Lightning, baby, do it! Jay, you got the power! Say, "I've got the power"!" While I was doing it, I could see that Jay was starting to spark with electricity.

"I've got the power!" Jay yelled. Lloyd was right! The power is inside us! Jay knocks down the door with his lightning. There's our exit! But just we were about to run for it, I spotted a huge chunk of the ceiling falling down toward us. I know I could lift it. I just need to activate my power. So I quickly did the excercises until energy surrounded me. I suddenly felt..stronger. 

"I got the power!" I yelled as I lift the ceiling. I throw it away as we exit the temple. As soon as we did, I see that part of the roof starts to fall on us, but Cole knocks it back with his powers.

"I've got the power!" He yelled. 

"Good work, Cole! Go, go, go!" Lloyd yelled. We run down the stairs, but More falling rubble knocks out the stairs. Nya and Zane combine their powers to make an ice bridge for us to cross.

"I've got the power!" Nya yelled.

"I, too, have the power!" Zane yelled.

"Here we go, come on, hurry up!" Nya yelled so we cross the ice bridge and continue to amke our way down the staircase. Then I heard a loud rumble. I look behind me and saw that a large lion head statue was sliding down towards us. "Guys!" I yell. "Incoming lion heard statue!""What now?" Jay asked.

"Kai! Your turn!" Lloyd yelled.

"Got it. I've got the power!" Kai yelled as he activates his fire power. He shoots fire at the statue, which continues to slide towards us, but it was now on fire.

"I think I made it worse!" Kai screamed, running after us. As we run from the flaming lion head, Lloyd suddenly said, "Guys, I can hear the dead. And Master Wu says... Jump!"

So we jump off the cliff that was infront of us and land safely on a flying ship. Wait. Aren't ships meant to be in water? We saw Master Wu seemly not dead driving this thing, then when he saw us, he said, "Great job, students!" "Master Wu!" We gasped.

"You're alive!" Lloyd cried.

"How?" I ask. "You fell of the bridge."

"Of course." Master Wu replied. "I'm a ninja master, who lives life on the edge, and cheats death at every turn."

"Wow!" Jay said in awe.

"Really?" Nya asked.

"No!" Master Wu replied. "I thought being dead would make you listen to me more. And I was right!" "Master Wu!" Jay cried. "We found our elemental powers!""All because Lloyd wouldn't give up on our training."Cole added.

"Lloyd saved us!" Nya said.

"He also decoded your needlessly cryptic metaphors!" Zane said. 

"Lloyd, I'm so proud of you." Master Wu said. "You helped your friends be great. And that makes you truly a ninja master. Now, let's go save the city from the giant kitty!" The flying ship starts to move for Ninjago City.
