Appearance: Vera's hair is brown as well as her eyes, and she has been described as having a harsh look. Though she is not the prettiest girl at the court of the Eyrie, she is by no means unattractive. She has simply been described as common. She often wears her hair in ornate braids and updos, not out of vanity, but for professionalism and tradition.

Description: Vera is the daughter of the deceased sister of Lady Jeyne, who unfortunately died in childbirth. Jeyne, who had much love for her sister, decided to foster Vera as a ward when Vera turned 11. She is quite intelligent, and has a love for reading and the histories. She is far more responsible than her cousin, Serenoa who is heir. She is constantly trying to get him to perform his duties and attend to his lessons, to no avail. They often clash and tease one another for their respective opposite nature. She enjoys writing the deeds, laws, and various other contracts that her Aunt asks her to as Jeyne narrates them. She is a traditionalist, and though she supports the blacks to an extent, she believes Rhaenyra's son Jace or any male targaryen should rule in place of her. She does believe women can rule quite well, but she believes that the lords of the realm would not accept a queen. Being of marriageable age, she hopes to soon find a match, though not for love, but for an alliance or power. She could care less about love.
