Welcome to this... Whatever this is: idk man.
Here's an overview and intro to my fic for those interested! -Just to let you know more about what to expect from whatever the hell I'm doing with this fic.

Critique/feedback is welcome and encouraged! I'd be happy with any given as I see this as a way to improve!
I suppose this is my first actual story in a few years, and the first one I've ever taken 'seriously'! I'm both excited and nervous lol!

Update schedule:
As of now, I have no update schedule. I just post whenever I have the courage and motivation to. If I ever do have a schedule, I'll let you guys know!

My writing may be a bit messy. I can't concentrate in this format. (I'm an ao3 person 💀) Is there any way to view the words smaller-?

Honorifics:
I will not be using japanese honorifics! I do not fully understand how to use them and do not wish to incorrectly use them! Additionally, I understand that there are divided opinions on honorifics in fanfiction anyways: I have to intent to disrespect anybody!

If this fic actually reaches anyone: I'm open to questions too, but I may not answer some for the sake of not giving away plot.

That being said: please interact with each other in a polite or atleast civil manner! I don't support or encourage rudeness between my audience! I'm not against jokes and will more than likely ask if any thing I'm unsure of is a joke! (I'm bad at social signals lol ^-^)

Word count:
I aim to write atleast 5000 words each chapter! Ofcourse that may range lower or higher but it will remain in the 1000s at the very least!!
Each chapter will have a word count at the very top, the count includes the author's notes!

Writing style:
I don't suppose I have a specific writing style? It changes depending on the context- whether the writing is fornal, informal, descriptive, fast-paced, etc!

Also, the writing will probably remain serious throughout the fic as to not break the story up!
Just thought I'd let you know, since I've seen some of the wattpad fics and they're very different to ao3- I'm guessing the author's thoughts in brackets are a normal thing...? Basically, I won't be doing the 'author's notes inbetween each sentence' thing- any silly thought I have will be in the author's notes at both the end and start of the fic.

ANOTHER (concerning) thing I've noticed with 'wattpad culture' is the questionable stuff...? It is harder to know what will show up ib a story due to a lack of warnings. There seems to be a lot of 'pro-shipping' (even more concerningly amongst minors) which randomly appears. I could be wrong since I don't read many fics here since its harder to find a non-relationship or non-y/n fic thanks to lack of tags, but from what I've seen and heard from friends who use wattpad, this is a common thing that just appears without warning-???

That being said, I'd like to be clear in the fact that none of my writing will ever involve or support pro-shipping in any positive aspect.
I don't condone this behaviour and I don't wish to have anyone who supports these behaviours to interact here! That is a side of this site I'd prefer to stay away from.
Therefore, I will not take any  of these problematic suggestions.
Additionally, I do not write nsfw. I'm a minor so for both our sakes, please don't ask for that ^-^

This fic is not focused on any ships anyway, the only possible ships in here will be he canon ones. Even then, they will not be the main focus. The focus is on the characters themselves.

As it says in the description: this is not entirely based off of canon as I haven't read or watched that far! I'm only up to the Netflix episodes plus a few episodes in for the manga. Hopefully this won't change much since this is an alternate universe setting anyway.

Any cover or chapter art will be images from the manga or anime itself until I half finished any art. This means that any art that isn't from the manga in this fic will only ever be from me.
I use pinterest to find the manga images and I do my best to see if they're official and not fan-adaptations/fan-made, so if there is any art in here that isn't mine or from Demon Slayer itself, please let me know so I can take it down!

Characters are from the Demon Slayer/Kimetsu No Yaiba story. I do not own them.
Any characters not part of KNY will simply be background characters with random names. They won't be focused on and will only be for plot or world building.
