(Rainbow Latte) Till Death Do Us Part

Cream hung up the phone, this was the 5th time in a row that Raina didn't answer the phone

Cream opened their texts, still left on delivered for over two hours

They knew that attending different schools meant each other would be busy... but even if Raina couldn't respond in sentences they would send an Emoji or gif then add on when they got the chance. There was not either of those

Cream was extremely worried, they thought about skipping the rest of their classes to visit Rainbow High

Was Raina actually fine and busy with cheer practice?
Was Cream over reacting?

Cream didn't want to let them anxiety eat them up so they asked their friend Nixie for information

Her face had a look of concern, certainly not making Cream feel any better

"Oh hun... You haven't heard?" She asked

Cream was confused "heard what?"

Nixie put her hand on Cream's shoulder
"Something has happened at Rainbow High, they aren't telling us what happened but it's pretty serious..."

Cream's eyes widened

The bell rang for class, Nixie and other students made their way to their classes

Cream stood their in shock, they couldn't go to class after hearing this news

They were hesitant on skipping before but now they were set on it. Cream raced down the stairs and out the entrance of the school. If anyone asked they could say Rainbow High needed some sewing work on their cheer uniforms, both schools knew about Cream's job about aiding the cheer students as an unpaid intern so it's not like they were completely lieing

Cream raced down the sidewalk, they've visited Rainbow High many times so they knew the path like that back of their hand

They got up the stairs and to the door they were lucky that it was unlocked, they opened door and immediately felt uneasy

The lights were dim not not completely off, there was blood on the floor and walls, items were thrown on the floor, and there was not one student to be found

They gently closed the door afraid to alert what ever is inside the school and quietly walk fowards

They knew Raina's focus was floral art so they decided to check the horticulture class first

They pass by all the blood and destruction on the floor, even seeing some students in puddles of blood. What could have happened?

They finally make it to the stairs that lead to the downstairs classes, horticulture being one of them

They reach the hallway and hear some groaning, was someone hurt? Not knowing they decide to peak from the side of the hallway careful not to be seen

It was two students, one was groaning like Cream heard but was covered in blood and various injuries. How could anyone be walking around like that? Another thing that stood out was the student's skin was green, was it a makeup student putting on movie? Did they accidentally step on a movie site? Cream was about to leave until she saw the green student lunge at the other

They both fell to the ground, the green student obviously overpowering the other. The non green student was fighting for their life, screaming and pleading. Cream didn't notice the weapon in their hand, a pair of scissors. They reached out to plunge them into the rabid student's head but was stopped. The student took a huge bite into the others shoulder, causing them to scream in agony.
