Meeting:

Meeting his darling most likely happened by them having a chance encounter. Either being paired together for a project or simply being neighbors is all it takes. Sure, maybe at first it doesn't seem like a big thing, we meet people every day after all, but there always has to be a start somewhere the first step that has to be taken for things to really start.

Stalking/After Meeting:

After the first interaction there's a good chance that it will bloom into a friendship or at least to where he gets to know them more and as he gets to know more about his darling the more, he starts to have this feeling towards them and to protect and care for.

Kidnapping:

In extreme cases he will take his darling believing that it is for their own good given that the world is so dangerous and unpredictable.

Punishments:

The closest thing to a punishment he will do is isolation. He sees it as giving them time to "cool off" from a "lovers spat". The longest it has ever lasted is a week from of course this is only if they have "calm down."

Relationship:

It may be a bit instant at times, but he only means the best. He is very sweet and loving towards his darling, so he tries to show just how much he cares even if it does come off as creepy or controlling.

Random headcanons:

He has many notes about his darling from day-to-day stuff to big events. some of the stuff his darling would be surprised he even knew. He can be quite romantic so it's safe to say that if he actually gets a date with his darling, they won't be disappointed. He does like to keep things in order so when it comes to his darling it won't be any different. (So, if they are messy, he is going to find a way to fix that.

AU:

Amnesia:

Is he extremely sad when he realized they didn't remember him at first? yes. The keyword is at first. After a while he realizes that he can use this to show them the life that they have together. (The one he believes they are in anyways.)

Future:

He just wants a normal relationship with his darling one that follows the steps that any other couple would. First date, second date, marry and then have at least one kid (if they want.) and live out the rest of their lives together.
