Lies and Secrets

Chapter 1

Akashi pov

I groaned as I listen to Kise whine about how long he has been standing on his feet. We were currently at Maji Burger waiting for Kuroku's arrival, he was at least thirty minutes late and I was getting impatient and irritated. I was about to pull out my phone to call him when I heard a voice behind me.

"Hi, Sorry I'm late."

Everyone was surprised by Kuroku's sudden appearance except for me. I listen to the rest of the GOM as they scold Kuroku's tardiness and him scaring them while Kuroku gave them empty apologies.

"Let's get going now" I said getting impatient.

While walking to the basketball court I took quick glances at my Kuroku while he talked with Aomine and Kise. He seemed fine and well but for the past few months, I've realized something off about him. I know everything absolutely everything yet still I can't seem to figure out what was up with him.

We finally arrived at the basketball court and met up with the Seirin High.

"Yo Kuroku!!"

I turned to see Kagami calling out to Kuroku and Kuroku giving him the usual sassy attitude.

3 hours later~

We were all exhausted and tired from playing for three hours straight. I felt content at the moment as I sat down with the rest of the guys listening to them bicker and talk about nonsense.

I suddenly remembered Kuroku and looked amongst each other to see if I noticed him. I didn't see him at all. Even with him using his ability of misdirection, I've always been able to get a glance at him but when I scanned around and saw no sight of him. 

"Kagami" I called out to Kagami and asked him if he saw Kuroku but he also had not seen him.

I got up and looked around to see if I spotted the bluenett. I finally caught a glance of him, he was talking on the phone with someone on the other side of the court.

I know this was wrong of me but I walked towards him as quietly as I could, the closer I got the more I realized that he seemed very frustrated, he was standing with the phone pressed against his ear with a tight grip and the other hand massaging his nose.

"Ok! Ok! I get it!!" I heard him say slightly loud, he was clearly frustrated and angry.
He waited for a while and I assumed that the other person was speaking. He scowled and sighed deeply.

"Look, I'm out with some acquaintances right now, please leave this conversation for later." He said in a defeated tone.

I was hurt how he referred to us as acquaintances, after all this shit. We're acquaintances. I felt something hot in my chest and my fists balled. I quickly hid my anger and kept shut.

He hung up and groaned loudly before turning around to face me, he jumped in surprise and cursed.

"You scared me Akashi-Kun." He said while chuckling nervously. I played it cool and acted as if I didn't hear anything.

"I'm so sorry Tetsuya, I just realized that you weren't with the rest of us so I looked for you and found you here." I said in my usual tone.

"Oh, So sorry I had a phone call that's all." he said.

"With who," I asked.

"My next boyfriend." He said with a dead tone.

"What?!?!?" I yelled a bit too loudly. My fist balled and I could feel myself getting angry.

"Whoa relax Akashi-Kun, I'm joking." he said while coming forward planting a kiss on my lips.

"You can't joke like that Kuroku." I groaned while returning the kiss. He chuckled before circling his arms around my neck deepening the kiss.
