Sunghoon's workday unexpectedly grants him an early departure. Without clear intention, he finds himself standing before the hospital, a quiet observer of moments waiting to unfold. An unexplained urge compels him to wait, to catch another glimpse of her.

As if drawn by some unspoken connection, Yuna emerges from the hospital's entrance. Surprise flickers across her features, mingling with delight. "You actually came," she exclaims, a blend of astonishment and pleasure in her voice.

He offers a nonchalant shrug, a hint of a smile playing at his lips. "I'm all yours for the day...I guess."

Her excitement is palpable as she pulls out a stack of cards from her bag.

"Paint my room, rob a store... commit arson?" He raises an eyebrow at the last item, curiosity laced with amusement.

She laughs softly, the sound like music in the air. "You Can't blame twelve-year-old me for that one."

A playful grin quirks his lips. "So, are we planning to take on this whole list?"

Laughter dances in her eyes, a testament to the joy that dances within her. "Don't worry, I've already crossed out number one,I don't want it anymore."

she selects a card and reads it aloud. "To fall in love." Her gaze meets his, a subtle vulnerability glinting in her eyes.

"Why this one?"

His gaze holds the card, his words carrying a quiet depth. "I think everyone deserves to experience love at least once in their life. It's a beautiful thing."

She hesitates, her fingers tracing the edge of the card. "I don't want that," she admits softly, her voice a whisper laced with shadow. "Love makes you vulnerable, distracts you from the world. It can make you dependent on someone, you become their drug and when you actually leave... God knows what'll happen to them and I don't want to be someone's burden."

He studies her, a mixture of concern and curiosity in his eyes. Her words hold more weight than she's letting on. Shaking off the thought, he gently redirects the conversation. "So, you've never been in a relationship before?"

A rueful smile curves her lips. "I've never experienced those romantic moments people talk about. The closest I came was a boy in preschool pointing at his lips. I thought he wanted a kiss, but he was just telling me I had something on my teeth."

Laughter bubbles out of him, a genuine burst that fills the space between them. Within the shared laughter, time seems to pause, and the complexities of the world fade, Their easy exchange feels like an old rhythm, a familiarity that has swiftly nestled between them. What was once a mystery now feels like destiny, like they were meant to meet and unravel each other's lives.

"Come on, don't make fun of me, just do your job," Yuna insists, her tone a playful mixture of exasperation and anticipation. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she retrieves a card from her collection.

"Number 7: smoke a cigarette."

He chuckles, his laughter a soft symphony in the air. "Is this some middle school typa shit?"

She shrugs with a grin, her enthusiasm unapologetically infectious. "Just for fun!"

With a self-assured smirk, he reaches into his pocket, retrieving a pack of cigarettes with a familiarity that speaks of past indulgences. The cigarette ignites with a flick of the lighter, tendrils of smoke curling around him like secrets whispered in the night. Yuna's playful irritation is evident.

"Hey, that's mine !"

But in an unexpected twist, he captures her chin with a touch that's both firm and gentle, his eyes locked onto hers in a dance of unspoken tension. He takes a slow drag from the cigarette, the ember glowing as he exhales through her lips. Her heartbeat quickens, and her breath catches in her throat as she's caught in the intensity of the moment.

A self-assured smirk graces his lips as he marks off the task on the card. The air between them crackles with a palpable energy, a charged atmosphere that hints at desires that go beyond the surface. Time seems to slow as their gazes remain locked, the boundaries between them melting away, leaving only the raw connection they share.
