Song Inspiration:
(Y/N)'s P.O.V
Maybe it was the way he intimidated me, or maybe it was his words that made me reach for him last night but I knew it wouldn't happen again unless it was a necessity. I wasn't into Dark, but I wasn't even sure that I wanted Anti anymore. I wasn't a prize to be won, I was my own person. I got changed into the clothes that Dark had set out for me, glad that Mark actually brought my clothes first. I looked around for my phone and cursed when I realized I never brought it with me, praying Mark brought it. I quickly went downstairs, breathing a sigh of relief when I saw it lying on the kitchen counter. I went to reach for it and nearly jumped out of my skin when a cold hand landed on my waist and a pair of lips touched my ear.
"Tell anyone about what I told you and I'll personally make sure you never see the light of day again. Do I make myself clear?" Dark's deep voice whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver. I nodded to avoid angering him, snatching my phone off the counter to text Marvin. I jumped again when the doorbell rang, Dark removing his hand to go answer it. "Yes, Mr.Brody?" I gasped and ran to the door, engulfing Chase in a hug and relishing in his warmth as he wrapped his arms around me. "I know you're probably busy getting settled in but the fair is in town and..." he trailed off and I let him go, looking back at Dark's unhappy face. "...I wanted to know if you would be my date." He finished. I stared at Dark for a moment, silently begging him to let me go. "I'll have her back by midnight so don't worry." Chase smiled nervously. As soon as the tall male looked into my eyes, I knew I had won.
"Fine. If anything happens, I want you to call me. Not Mark, not Wilford. Me. And I want her home by eleven at the latest. If she's not, I will hunt you down myself." He stated, crossing his arms. I grinned and hugged Dark, thanking him to both of our surprise. "Don't worry about your wallet, I've got it all tonight." Chase told me, linking our arms together. I could feel Dark's threatening aura behind us as we walked to Chase's car. He opened the door for me and I blushed, giving him a quick peck on the cheek to spite Dark even more.
But tonight wasn't about Dark or his obsession with me, it was about Chase and I having fun. Nothing could ruin tonight, not even Dark himself.
