The air was alive with the fragrance of the incense and the gentle notes of chanting , rising like incantations to the heavens. The sound of temple bells blended with the murmurs of prayer, creating a harmonious melody that seemed to wrap the ghat in a protective embrace. Marigold petals floated upon the water's surface, their vivid orange contrasting with the serene blue of Ganga.

Aditi prayed near Ganga ghat.

"Ganga Maa, Sorry for not coming to meet you for so many days, but I was busy as you already know I am going to Mumbai tomorrow to fulfill my dream. Please bless me so that I can make my parents proud.

After seeking the blessing of Ganga Maa, Aditi starts walking towards her home but stop at a shop to buy Chenna Dahi Vada.

"Bhaiya Please pack 4 Chenna dahi vada" Aditi said to shopkeeper.

"Ji"

After taking her order she started walking towards her home and knocks her door after reaching home. Her mother opened the door. Aditi smiled seeing her mother and handed her the Chenna Dahi Vada.

"What is this?"  Her mother asked

"I brought Chenna Dahi Vada for everyone. Where is Papa and Veer?"

"Your dad is in the study room and Veer is in his room. Now go wash your hands dinner is ready and call Veer too" Her mother said.

"Okay"

After washing her hands she went to call her brother and they both came and sat on dining table to have their dinner. She smiled seeing his father already seated in the table for the dinner.

"Today I have made everything according to Aditi's choice " Her mother said after bringing all the dishes to the dining table.

" Thank you Maa, You are the best" Aditi got excited seeing her favourite dishes and started serving on her plate.

" But I don't like anything from this Maa." Veer said and Aditi made a teasing face towards him

"Eat quietly, don't throw tantrums" Their father said.Veer nodded and started having his food.

Aditi was enjoying her food and praising her mother for her cooking skills.

"Beta, have you done your packing. You have an early morning flight tomorrow and eat slowly food is not going to run away from here" Her father said seeing her daughter having her food very fast and it is going to disappear in a few minutes.

"Yes Papa, everything is done don't worry." Aditi said enjoying her dinner in same manner.

After dinner everyone was sitting in drawing room and enjoying the chenna dahi vada.

" I have talked to Mr. Mehra and he is very excited that you are going there and he insisted that you will stay in his house unless you get your own space" Aditi's father said.

"But Papa there was no need for this. I would have managed." She said.

" I know beta you are very capable of doing your own thing but for my assurance as you are going Mumbai for the first time live with his family for some time they are very good as you already know them." Her father said and She nodded her nodded her head without saying anything further.

"Mrs. Mehra also called me this morning and she was also very excited to have you there" Her mother said.

" It's good that you are going. Now nobody will torture me to study" Veer said enjoying his chenna vada.

" Don't be so happy. I will hire a tutor for you." Aditi said smiling.

" I will make him run away." Veer said taking the last bite.

"Okay....." " Enough now don't fight go to your room both of you" Aditi mother said cutting her as she was going to argue with her brother.

Both of them wished their parents Good night and went to their respective rooms.

Aditi changed into her night suit and lay on her bed thinking about the change that is about to come in her life.

"I will miss  this room and my family so much...Mumbai see you tomorrow.Please be nice." Aditi said this to herself and went into her dreamland.
