Charlie's POV:

It has been three days since I joined the Ghostforce team and discovered their identities. I was surprised to learn that Mike was Krush. I had genuine feelings for Mike without knowing he was Krush. I apologized to Andy for calling him lame because he is Furry, and he is one of my good friends. Right now, I'm at Mike's house with both Andy and Mike. I've noticed that Andy has been acting strangely around Liv lately, which is concerning. Mike had lied to me before, claiming that Andy was okay three days ago.

"Umm, Charlie, are you okay?" Mike asked while both Andy and Mike looked at me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm still processing the fact that you guys are the Ghostforce, actually," I said, trying to smile.

"Yeah, I guess it's still surprising for you," Andy replied.

"I'm glad Miss Jones finished your medallion, Charlie," Mike said.

"Yeah, I'm relieved she was able to complete it. By the way, where is Liv?" I asked.

"She's at home, helping my mom get the house ready for some friends of my parents," Andy said.

Andy's response seemed a bit suspicious.

"Shouldn't he have said 'our parents' and 'our mom' since Liv and he are siblings?" I thought.

Andy's POV:

"Yeah, I'm relieved she was able to complete it. By the way, where is Liv?" Charlie asked.

"She's at home, helping my mom get the house ready for some friends of my parents," I replied.

Mike looked at me, and I realized my mistake.

"Wait, I meant to say 'our mom' and 'our parents'—not just my parents," I quickly corrected myself, laughing slightly.

Charlie looked at me suspiciously after Mike facepalmed.

"Great, I messed up now," I thought to myself, feeling embarrassed.

Charlie's POV:

I caught Andy in a lie.

"Should I ask him what's wrong? I can mention Drake's question to Andy from a few weeks ago, and how Andy held Liv very close after she got an electric shock three days ago," I thought to myself.

"Andy, can I ask you a question?" I inquired, as both Andy and Mike looked at me.

"Sure, what is it?" Andy replied, looking at Mike and then back at me.

"What's actually going on with you, Andy? You've been acting strange, especially around Liv," I said, focusing on Andy's reaction.

"What do you mean?" Andy asked, his cheeks turning red.

"Wait, is he blushing?" I wondered.

"Andy, I'm referring to Drake's question and how you responded to it. Also, three days ago, you held Liv very close to you after she got an electric shock. Not to mention, Liv told me she caught you staring at her sometimes, which is unusual," I said, observing Andy and Mike's reactions.

"Andy, just tell her. There's no point in lying now that she caught you in a lie," Mike said.

"Tell me what exactly?" I asked, curious to hear Andy's explanation.

"Fine, I'll tell you, but since you're Liv's best friend, you can't tell her yet," Andy said.

"Well, it depends on what you're about to tell me," I responded.

"So, on March 6, I overheard my parents talking to their friend, Larissa, on the phone when I got home. That's when I found out that Liv was adopted all along. My parents told me that Auntie Larissa is Liv's biological mom, and they're moving to Manhattan. That's why I stopped referring to Liv as my sister and started treating her more like a friend," Andy explained, revealing a surprising revelation.

"Yeah, 'friend'," Mike thought sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Wait... Liv is adopted?" I asked, taken aback.

"Yeah, she is," Mike confirmed, as I looked at him.

"You knew, Mike?" I inquired, feeling a mix of surprise and confusion.

"Yeah, Andy told me at my house on March 20. I'm sorry I lied, Charlie," Mike apologized.

"It's fine. It wasn't your secret to tell anyway. So Liv's family is coming here? Is that why your parents are preparing the house?" I asked, trying to piece everything together.

"Yes, that's right. It's strange that Liv will soon find out she's adopted," Andy commented.

"I have another question, Andy," I said, pressing further.

"Oh? What is it?" Andy asked, looking at me.

"Why do you stutter and blush whenever someone talks about Liv or when you're around her?" I asked, noticing Andy's reaction.

"Well... I don't know how to explain it. I still like Carla," Andy said, his cheeks turning even redder.

"Oh, so you have mixed feelings for Liv then, right?" I probed.

"Yeah, you could say that," Andy admitted, still blushing.

"Charlie, Andy is just seeing Liv in a new light. Instead of viewing her as a sibling, he's starting to see her as a friend or something more," Mike chimed in, providing an explanation.

"Oh, so Andy might have feelings for Liv?" I asked, looking at Andy.

"W-What!! N-No! I-I just said I still like C-Carla!" Andy stuttered, his blush deepening.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever you say, dude," Mike said, while I giggled at Andy's crossed arms and embarrassed expression.

"Well, I'm kind of upset that Liv won't be living with me anymore," Andy admitted.

"Well, it depends on the house Liv's parents bought. You'll probably still get to hang out with her before she officially moves in," I reassured him.

"Yeah, you guys are right," Andy said, his frown transforming into a smile.

"Also, thanks for telling me, Andy. I won't mention anything about her being adopted to Liv. And honestly, you two didn't seem like siblings when I first met you," I said, offering my understanding.

"No problem, Charlie. I'm glad I could confide in you," Andy said, grateful.

"How about we play some video games?" Mike suggested, and both Andy and I agreed. We went to his room to have fun gaming together.

Liv's POV:

I was at home with my mom, helping get our house ready for some reason.

"Hey, Mom?" I asked, looking at Mrs. Baker.

"Yes, Liv," she replied.

"Who are the guests coming to our house?" I inquired.

"Well, they're actually moving here, and they're our best friends from California, just like us," Mrs. Baker explained.

"Oh, that's amazing," I said with a smile.

"Liv, sweetie, is everything alright with you?" Mrs. Baker asked, sensing something was off.

"Yeah, it's just that Andy has been acting strange, especially around me," I admitted, looking at my mom for reassurance.

"Oh, I'm sure he's fine, dear," she responded, trying to hide her concern.

"Um, yeah, you might be right," I said, though I sensed that she wasn't being entirely truthful.

"Don't worry, Liv. You'll find out why Andy is acting strange sooner than you think," Mrs. Baker thought to herself as she continues getting the house ready.
