When Larissa and Isa arrived and before Andy came home
Melissa's POV:
I was getting the house completely ready before my best friend Larissa came to our house. I can not wait to see her again for so long. I am surprised that Liv is going to find out she is adopted today. I really hope she will be fine when she finds out.
"Honey?", said my husband Jay.
"Yes, dear?" I replied back.
"Do you want me to text Andy to come home 1 hour before his school ends?" asked Jay.
"Yes since I do want him to meet Larissa & Isa before Liv does," I replied.
After the house was completely ready, for some reason, I did feel nervous about meeting one of my bestest friends again.
Jay came to me after he noticed me being like this.
"Are you okay?", he asked.
"Well, I am kinda nervous and excited to see Larissa again," I said.
"It is fine to be nervous. We did not see her for a very long time, honey," said Jay.
After a while, the doorbell rings. Melissa and Jay went about to the door and opened it, revealing Larissa and her youngest daughter Isa.
"Oh my gosh, Melissa! It is so good to see you again," said Larissa as Melissa hugged her after Melissa and Isa came in & Jay closed the door.
"I missed you so much Larissa," I said as I had a little happy tears since one of my best friends again.
"Oh, and also it is good to see you too Jay," said Larissa as she hugged Jay.
"Good to see you again, Larissa," said Jay as he hugged back.
"Mommy? Is this Auntie Melissa & Uncle Jay?" asked Isa as she looked up at us.
"Yes, they are," said Larissa.
"Oh my god. Isa you've grown up a lot since the last time I saw you as a 1-year-old," I said as Isa looked at me.
"Thank you, Auntie. I am going to elementary school now. I can't wait to make friends!" said Isa.
"How about we talk and catch up in the living room before Andy comes back home from school?" I said.
"Sure," said Larissa as they walked into the living room.
As they sat down on the couch, Larissa gave Isa her iPad so she would not get bored while Larissa & I started talking with each other again. Jay also went to the kitchen to make some food or snacks.
