~Night time~

Liv's POV:

I was in my room sitting on my bed with my PJs on since we had dinner already. My mom and my little sister already left since my mom needed to help out with moving things into her house, I mean my new home.

I did get to talk to my mom a little bit before she left. I got along with my little sister Isa and Andy was with us as well.

I am still processing things thought. I am still a little surprised I was adopted. I am surprised Andy and I are childhood friends. I don't know why I can not remember much about my childhood even though I was young as well. I suddenly heard a knock on my door.

"The door is open. You can come in," I said as I saw Andy wearing his PJs, opening the door, and coming in after closing it.

"Hey Liv," said Andy as he walked to my bed.

"Andy? What are you doing here?" I asked as he sat next to me on my bed.

"I just wanted to check on you since you met your mom and your little sister today," said Andy.

I smiled slightly at Andy's concern. "Yeah, it's been a lot, but I'm okay. Thanks for being there for me, Andy."

"I'm sorry if I seemed awkward or distant. It's just that I had to keep the secret about you being adopted and find out we were childhood friends. I didn't want to accidentally reveal anything", said Andy.

Liv nodded understandingly. "I get it, Andy. It's a big secret to keep. But I'm glad I know now why you were acting differently these past weeks. I appreciate you treating me like your best friend, instead of a sister."

"Of course, Liv. You'll always be my best friend," Andy said, smiling at her as Andy felt relieved that I understood why he had been acting differently around me lately.

I then asked if Andy had told anyone else about me being adopted. Andy nodded. "Yeah, I told Mike, Charlie, Miss Jones, and Glowboo. They all knew the secret since Mike and Miss Jones know I am a bad liar", said Andy as I giggled.

I felt a sense of relief that the people closest to me already knew.

"Thanks for not keeping it from them, Andy. I guess I have to get used to calling you by your name instead of 'brother' now", I said while Andy looked at me and chuckled.

"I don't think that'll be too hard. You've been calling me Andy more than 'brother' lately, so I think you'll be just fine, Liv", said Andy as I looked at him.

I started to feel sleepy and I yawned a little.

"Hey, do you want me to stay with you tonight?" Andy asked as I looked at him.

"Yeah, s-sure. I don't mind since you did tell me that Heaven told you that we did cuddle when we were kids," I said. I was still a little embarrassed when Andy told me that downstairs in the living room before we had dinner.

Andy and I settled down on the bed, cuddling in each other's arms, finding comfort in their close bond as childhood friends. My heart was filled with excitement and nervousness for the next day when I would spend time with my biological mother and my little sister. Andy reassured me that everything would be okay.

"I'm really happy for you, Liv," Andy said, "You'll get to know your mom and sister, and I know it's going to be great."

"Thanks, Andy," I replied, feeling grateful for his support, "I'm glad we're childhood friends. You mean a lot to me", I said.

They smiled at each other, feeling a sense of warmth and understanding between them. As they cuddled up together, they eventually drifted off to sleep, looking forward to the new day ahead.
