The blood on your hands started to irritate you. So did the dead body in front of you. But you did your end of the deal...

It wasn't your first time killing someone. But you never felt good about it. You know you had to do it. For the shield of course. How else would you make a living? It wasn't like the man in front of you was innocent anyways...

It's been a couple days since you've had a full on conversation with Gepard. You bickering didn't help his mood much. But he seemed stressed out. More than how annoyed he gets at your useless chatter.

His eyebrows would furrow, and the ends of his lips turned downwards. It looked like he was looking for someone every time you pasted by him.

Now here you are; spacing out in an alleyway with a dead body in front of you. Luckily, you knew how to kill someone without being...too messy.

Gepard has been on your mind since you've talked to him. You admit that he is attractive. I mean, you admit that a lot. In your head of course.

You quickly disposed of the body and cleaned your hands. Now, you're in front of your shop. Sometimes you just wished Sampo would be a co worker of yours. Yes, he's much of a trouble maker. But it would be easier to get more business deals with two people instead of one.

"Y/n" you hear your name being called out from behind you. You turn around to see Gepard.

"Have you seen three people that look like they are not from here?"

"Huh?"

It took Gepard a while to explain the situation to you. Sadly, you didn't pay attention much to what he was saying. Instead you questioned why he was telling you that many details in the first place. Was he starting to trust you a bit?

"Hello? Are you ok?" You escaped the spacing out. Cutie over there looked a little worried. Yup, cutie. You seemed to like that nickname for the silvermane guard.

"Yeah. Im all good. What do you need again?"

He sighed. You knew how much of a headache you give him. "I need to know where that group is."

"Ah! Right! 30 shield for an answer!"

"Are you kidding me right now?" You shook your head. Gepard sighed again. How much is he gonna sigh?!

He gave you the price you claimed. You smirked. For a silvermane guard, he sure was gullible. "I don't know where they are, sorry!"

His eyebrows furrowed more than they already were. He really needs to stop asking you for information.

"Whatever, I must leave now to search the area for them. Farewell."

"Bye cutie!" You waved a bit before walking back to your house.

Suddenly, the one and only interrupts your day again..

"Y/n! Heya girlie, I need your help" Sampo says. You raised your eyebrows. "Im paying you extra this time! How does 250 shield sound?"

"Deal."

"I haven't even told you what I needed help with!"

"Who else is gonna pay my bills?"
