I stare at the deep forest trying to ground myself I felt suffocated in that room with all of the tension maybe I should've just waited for the boys to go patrol and I could've snuck off to record the song ...
Guilt washes through me I couldn't do that ..

"Skylar" Sam's voice comes from behind me and I feel his hand on my shoulder making me relax at his touch "I've made you upset?" he asks quietly and I shake my hand turning to look at him "I'm upset with myself I think" I whisper and frown he lifts my chin my making me look at him, his brown eyes searching mine for answers "is he really your ex?" I scoff lightly "I honestly thought he was it at one stage" I admit shaking my head and walking towards a bush that had small flowers "he told me I was all he ever wanted and I believed him, which was stupid of me ... I knew who he was, his lifestyle and I was silly to think it would change for me" I admire the flowers before I looked at Sam , the beauty of the flowers didn't even come close to his beauty "What happened?" He asks and I smile softly "I caught him in my bed with two woman, I came home a day early to surprise him.... I think I was the one that got the surprise" he clenched his jaw slightly before relaxing "do you love him" He looked deep into what felt like my soul as he asked that question I swallow and stare right back "I did before I met you" he sighs "I can't compete with him Sky, I'm not famous I don't have a ton of money-" I cut him off shaking my head "I don't want you to be like him Sam , if you were like him I wouldn't even waste a second on you" he sighs tucking a strand of hair behind my ear "I can't help but get ...." I smirk looking up at him "jealous?" He stares at me with a a sarcastic look and nods "you don't see how guys look at you but i do... I'm jealous" I smile  patting his chest "oh Sam" I lean up to his ear "no need to be jealous baby, your the only one who's taking me home today" and I sigh walking inside ready to tackle my verse.

That night

Later on I sat at Sam's sipping on my tea while I looked at houses on my laptop, while I love Sam's house this is only supposed to be temporary and I've been considering relocating niki and I to LaPush to be closer to Paul and well let's be honest Sam is part of that.

I was currently looking at photos of a house in the forest something else I had considered, Paul needs privacy if he wolfs out I quickly email the agent and set up a time to look at the house tomorrow I smile happily, Paul would finally be able to move out of our fathers home, Niki would have her uncle in her life and for the first time since my mother had passed away I would finally feel at home in LaPush.
I hear the boys calling out to signal they were home and I shut my laptop off walking to Sam's kitchen to start dinner as I hear his and my brothers voices approaching the house "I'm telling you man his got it bad , poor Kim has to put up with all that mushy lovey dovey crap" Paul complains and they walk in both looking at me Paul smiles and walks over to help me by peeling potatoes "hey sis" he says taking the peeler I smile to him "how was patrol?" He nods shrugging "nothing today, this red head leech keeps dancing in and out of LaPush" I frown and look at Sam in worry he was leaning in the doorway watching us "you guys will be safe right?" Paul scoffs "when I get my claws on that Vamp she's going down" Sam rolls his eyes and pushes off the wall walking over to me and wrapping his arms around my waist kissing me softly before pulling away "we're stronger and faster.. she's just tricky but we will get her" I nod slowly frowning I can't imagine what I would do if any of the boys got hurt I sigh and turn back to the cooking , I was making curried sausages "can I steal Paul tomorrow morning?" I ask Sam as Paul finishes peeling the potatoes and plops down at the bench raising an eyebrow in question "why is everything okay?" I smile nodding "I want to show you a surprise" he looks at Sam and he gives him a nod "I'll get Jacob to cover your shift"
He kisses my cheek "I'm going to have a shower" and he leaves the room.

I look at my brother "so be ready at 8am" he grins excitedly "what are we doing" I laugh he was still the same as he was when he was a child "it's more of a where are we going, you'll love it" he pouts and sighs "fine, I'm going to go home get a change of clothes and have a shower I'll be back in time for dinner" I roll my eyes "I would be shocked if you didn't"

I hum as I continue cooking dinner hearing the floorboards creak making me look up and notice Sam walking in with a pair of sweats hanging low on his hips and of course was shirtless I couldn't help but check him out making him chuckle and grab a black t-shirt off the back of one of the chairs "it smells nice it here,what are you making" I bite my lip looking at the food storing it feeling my cheeks heat up from being caught staring "curried sausages, one of mums specialties growing up" he smiles "my mums specialty was her buffalo wings, she has a secret recipe she won't give me until I give her grand children" I laugh looking up at him and he sighs "that or a wedding , she's spoken about it since I got my first girlfriend" he seems calm as he speaks about his mother "maybe I can meet her one day?" I ask awkwardly and his face lights up "she would love that , I would love that ...are you sure" I lean forward kissing his lips softly his hands grip my waist and he moans into the kiss I pull away "of course, when I get back after promoting the album maybe we can all have dinner?" He smiles "how did I get so lucky" I pout playfully "hmm I don't know, it's almost like destiny or something" he scoffs and leans in kissing me again.
