Chapter 14

Luke, Michael, Cyrus, Ashton, and Nora were inside the 5SOS tent. They were eating pasta for dinner.

"Good news! Good news!" Petunia shouted as we came inside the tent. Everybody looked at her.

"Yeah what is it?" Cyrus asked her.

"We're going to LA after the festival!" she exclaimed.

Cyrus looked at me and I nodded to him yes.

"Even us?" Michael asked.

"Oh no, Michael, it's for The Cabin" I replied to him.

"Does that mean you two are going to be separated soon?" Nora asked as he looked at Calum who was so quiet.

"Hey, Bug you okay?" I looked at him he was so quiet since we went out.

"Yeah I'm okay." He replied to me.

"Another, good news, I kind of figured the letter out," Ashton shouted as he was holding the paper on his right hand while holding a fork.

"That's great, excuse me and Brenna for a second" Calum said as he started dragging me outside the tent.

"Why what's wrong?" I asked him.

"Bee..." he said quietly looking at me.

"What,"

"You can't just leave me"

"I am not leaving you what are you saying?"

"You're going to move to LA and leave me"

"Don't be such a child Calum. You know this is what I want"

"I am not being childish Brenna"

"Then what do you want?"

"I don't know, stay."

"Calum you just agreed with it."

"I changed my mind"

"Calum..."

"Please Brenna"

"Don't be selfish,"

"Brenna please don't leave me after the festival"

"You're going to leave me too. You know how our life works. We're not settled in one place. We fly, we work, we sing, we live for our dreams Calum." I said in a thin voice as I looked down on my shoes. Now I can feel his handcuffed hand touching my handcuffed hand too.

"I need you Brenna," he said. His voice was quiet, calm, begging.

I looked at him and his eyes were the saddest eyes you could ever see, but those eyes were the eyes I would love to be with.

Now, there were drops of water falling from the sky. But we stayed there as I just looked straight into his deep brown eyes.

Then suddenly big drops fall in. It's now raining. But he didn't move an inch. The crowd from the north started running to go inside their tents. But some people were staying in the rain enjoying it, hugging it, embracing the gift of the sky.

Calum pulled me closer to him. He hugged me so tight that I almost forgot to breathe. His lips were pressing my shoulder. I tiptoed to reach him as I kissed his ear.
