Martin had spent countless nights tossing and turning in his bed, consumed by the thought of Blessing. Her beautiful smile, her infectious laughter, and the way her eyes sparkled when she talked about her passions had captured his heart. He had longed to tell her how he felt, but fear had held him back. But tonight, he mustered the courage to take a leap of faith and confess his feelings to her.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over the city, Martin found himself standing outside Blessing's favorite café. His heart raced as he rehearsed the words he had practiced a thousand times in his head. He took a deep breath, pushed open the door, and walked in.

The café was filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the soft murmur of conversations. Martin spotted Blessing sitting alone at a table near the window, engrossed in a book. She looked radiant, her dark curls cascading over her shoulders, and her eyes gleaming with curiosity.

Summoning all his courage, Martin approached her table. "Hi, Blessing," he stammered nervously. She looked up from her book, a gentle smile gracing her lips. "Oh, hi Martin! What brings you here?"

Martin's heart pounded in his chest as he fumbled for words. "Blessing, there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time," he finally managed to say. "I've developed strong feelings for you, and I can't keep it to myself any longer. You're amazing, and I... I really like you."

For a moment, Blessing's expression changed. Her brows furrowed, and her smile faded. Martin's heart sank, and he felt a lump forming in his throat. He had anticipated a variety of reactions, but this was not one he had imagined.
