Marina POV

It's been ten years since I've moved to Imperium. Things were different in the last 10 years. Trish was spending most of the day working as an Imperial Guard for Empress Beatrix, the empress of the whole town, so every day I have to go to school myself.

My school had not many students. My class had only 20 students, and since the very first day, I've taken an interest in computers and technology. Every year, I get better and better. But someone was surprisingly better.

In my school, we have a school science fair every year, and I am dying to win it. But there's a girl in my class that wins every year. Her name was Ana, and she's very good at technology. So I try to beat her every year, but I always come second. Trish tries to give me advice, and she even bought me a workspace so that I could work on my inventions.

This year's science fair was tomorrow, and I hope that I will win. That's why I am currently building an invention that I hope will make me come in first.

While I was doing so, Trish came over and saw me. "Marina, are you sure that is going to help you win the science fair?" She asked. "Don't you need help?" "Trish, I'm not 5 anymore," I said. "I am 15, and I don't need help. Well, maybe a boost."

"Marina, you know that Ana has beaten you for years," Trish said. "It won't be easy trying to win first place." "But the Robot Helper 2000 should be better than all the inventions from last years' science fair," I said. "Surely Ana wouldn't be able to beat me. Right." "I guess so," Trish said. Then she left. 

I keep working on my invention, and finally, it was done. I sighed with relief. Hopefully this will beat Ana's invention. Now that I was done, I need to get some rest. I need energy for tomorrow because that day was a big day!
