A long day

Maka's p.o.v

Today ,like every other day, started with me having to wake up Soul for school. I made breakfast grabbed my coat told Blair to stay out of trouble and we left. We were the first of my friends to arrive. We sat in class as we waited for Black*Star to arrive. Finally he showed up not long after him Kid walked in. We sat for a couple of minutes before Stien told us Lord Death wanted to see us. Like always Kid lead the way. When we arrived at the death room door it opened. We walked in. There was Lord Death and my papa. We were told that we were to go on a mission. Our mission was to find and kill a sea monster. "Soul?" I asked as we walked out of the DWMA towards the boat we were going to use for this mission."Can you make sure I make it out of this alive?" I only say that because I hate water and sea monsters are very powerful. He looks at me in a strange way. "Don't I always?" Is his reply.

Soul's p.o.v

That was strange. Maka asked me to make sure she lives. I mean I knew she hated water and how powerful sea monsters are but this was unlike her. I don't think I was the only one who noticed that because Kid looked over at me and then to Maka. We walked on for a while. When we where on the boat and began to sail Maka disappeared below deck. I figured she would because of her hate of water. I followed her and to my surprise she didn't care. Normally she would have Maka chopped me and told me she was fine, that I was to leave her alone she would be back. But she didn't. She looked at me and smiled and then walked on.

The battle with the sea monster was comming to an end. Maka used witch hunter and that was the final blow. We grabbed the soul and started on our way home. Below deck our injuries were treated. I went to a cabin to rest. Maka followed. She fell asleep on my shoulder. I woke her up when we arrived back at Death City. We went back to our apartment leaving Kid to deliver the soul to Lord Death, and Black*Star to go home. When we arrived at our place Blair was asleep on the couch in cat form.

Maka's p.o.v

We got home Blair was asleep meaning the bathroom was open. "I'm taking a shower!" I yelled at soul form the bathroom. Finally I get to get rid of this sea water smell. So after I shower I made some popcorn while Soul showered. When he was done and dressed I put in a movie. I don't know what time I fell asleep. But I did and Soul had his arms around me and Blair was curled up in my lap. The last thing I remember before I fell asleep was him saying "it's been along day hasn't it Maka?" I repyled with a groggy" yes it sure has." And with that I fell asleep.
