With my old Steam account being long gone, I wondered if I'd ever be able to play Train Simulator or Garry's Mod ever again. Until a friend from middle school whom had been in my current account's friends list for a while gifted me a copy of Garry's Mod. I was so excited to play the game again and screw around with Train add-ons from the Steam Workshop. I installed the game, though I kept wondering why it took so long to install (the same thing had happened when I installed Team Fortress 2 after being away from it since before I lost access to my old Steam account.). After installing, I immediately subscribed to a bunch of workshop add-ons and booted up the game, choosing to go to a trainbuild map. The moment the game started loading, though, I felt woozy and passed out.

A few minutes had passed when I woke up to find myself at the spawn area of the map I had chosen. I looked down at my hands to find that my hands had been replaced with those of Kleiner from Half-Life 2, a game I had never played and only knew about because of its importance to the Garry's Mod community. In one hand was a tool I immediately recognized from watching Garry's Mod YouTube videos years before I played the game on my old account, the Physics gun. I thought about spawning something, and the spawn menu appeared in front of me. I scrolled through it with my fingers, pressed the vehicle tab with my finger, until I found Sligwolf's Western Locomotive, one of my favorite add-ons. I pressed the icon of it, and the locomotive appeared in front of me. I used the Physics gun to lift it up and then tossed it against the mountain next to me. The locomotive made the classic collision sound and bounced off of the wall. I ran out of the way as the engine landed on the ground. At last, I had pieced together what my predicament was. I had fallen unconscious and had woken up inside the game, complete with all the abilities the player character had, like spawning anything and using any tool in the game. When you thought about it, in Garry's Mod the player was basically a god!
