It was a lovely, sunny morning in Liyue, where Tartaglia had been staying for the past couple of days. He'd woken up to the rays of sunlight shining through his window. "Ugh, damnit...Another day of being lonely and ginger." He sighed, getting up from his bed and looking outside the window. The harbour was the same as always, bustling and sunny, but still no suitable person for him to date. What a shame. For years, he'd been searching and no one's even come close to a match. After getting dressed, he went outside and walked around but nothing was of interest to him until a small gadget caught his eye...
He walked over to the woman who was selling it. "How much for that thing?" He asked as he pulled out his bag of Mora. "Ah, you're interested in my VR headset, I see?" The woman picked up the gadget and handed it to him. "There's only 10 of these in Teyvat, you're lucky to even spot one. But of course, things as rare as this have quite the price, but I'll give you a discount since none of my customers are interested in it. 5 million Mora!" Tartaglia looked down at the gadget and then back at the woman. "5 million you say? Well what does it do?" He inspected the gadget closely. "People say you can use it to travel through the multiverse...It's dangerous though..." She stared him in the eyes and lowered her voice. "You might never even be able to get out of the universe you travelled to..." His eyes widened, surely this little gadget couldn't be that dangerous, right? "I'll take it!" He exclaimed, dumping a bag of Mora onto the woman's table and going back to his hotel room with the VR.
Finally, something he could do. He'd figured the woman was overreacting a little, the tiny thing could probably do as much harm as a fly. Quickly, he turned on the headset and put it over his head. "Damn...This things awesome!" He looked through all the things he could do and decided he was gonna go to a VR concert. "Crazy B? Sounds interesting..." He thought, he clicked on the app and waited for it to load. Eventually, it loaded. Wow, just wow! Everything around him felt so real! Maybe a little too real...? He looked up at the band on the stage, the ones who called themselves 'Crazy B'. Their voices sounded angelic, so hot and dreamy, especially the lead singer's voice, in fact the lead singer was the one that caught Tartaglia's eye the most. His long, red hair, his strong and curvy build and his dreamy ocean eyes he could get lost in for weeks. Of course, the only men he found attractive just had to be fictional. Whatever, at least he had a shot. He barged through the crowd of people, accidentally knocking some over, and made his way to the front of the crowd. The singer looked even better from here, then Tartaglia had a thought. "If everything here's just a simulation, can I just do anything I want?" Taking that thought into consideration, he climbed onto the stage and started singing his Snezhnaya top hit, Rasputin! The music stopped, as well as the performers and the roaring crowd. The only thing that could be heard was Tartaglia's shitty vocals and an awkward silence so loud it was audible. Tartaglia stopped. Staring at the crowd, everything was starting to feel even more real. Just then, he remembered the exact words of the woman who sold him the VR, "People say you can use it to travel through the multiverse." He rushed to take the headset off, but it wasn't there. Panic started to fill his body, what was he going to do now? Did he really just travel to another universe? Questions he couldn't answer overflowed in his brain. This can't be happening...
"Oi!" A strong hand grabbed onto Tartaglia's arm. "What do you think you're doing, boy?" Tartaglia looked up at the guy who was fiercely grabbing onto his arm. Shit, a security guard. "Back off!" He pulled out his bow quickly and aimed it at the security guard's head, slightly shaking. The guard reached into his pocket and pulled out a...Glock?! "Don't threaten me with cosplay props, kid. Come along, I won't hesitate to use force." He growled, glaring at Tartaglia and aiming the glock at his forehead. "C-Cosplay prop?! This is a real bow I'll have you know!" Tartaglia tried to shoot, but nothing happened. He'd forgotten, his vision won't work in this universe. He dropped the bow and searched his pockets quickly for something he could use for self defence. "Wait! Leave him be, he's spiked my interest..." The red haired dreamboat walked over to Tartaglia and looked him in the eyes. "You're not from around here, are you?" Tartaglia blushed slightly, instantly fixing his posture and picking up his bow. "U-Uh- I'm from up North actually!" He stuttered, trying to make up an excuse on the spot. The singer looked him up and down, then grabbed onto his arm and pulled him backstage. "I'm not actually interested in you, you look like a bore, I just want a personal talk with you myself. What makes you think you can drag your ass up on my stage and interrupt my show with your shitty ass vocals, huh?!" He glared into Tartaglia's eyes, which Tartar found just as attractive as it was intimidating. "S-Sir! I mean no harm, really! I just...I had a little mushrooms earlier..." It was the best excuse he could come up with in the moment. "Whatever, I can accept that, I guess? Just because I can't be bothered to argue with you..." The guy turned away and fixed his bandana. "Go home, I have a show to finish." Tartaglia sighed. Great, now he's really fucked up. Maybe he could try to salvage this? "Wait! Uh...Sorry uhh...What's your name?" He asked, turning the singer back around and staring down at him, still blushing slightly. "Rinne. You're literally at my concert, why wouldn't you know that?" Rinne snapped back, rolling his eyes and starting to walk back on stage. "I-I'm Tartaglia!" He smiled widely and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you, Rinne!" Rinne stopped and turned back around again. "Tartaglia? Never heard that name before, well, I guess it's nice to meet you too but I really have a show I need to finish, if you're so eager to talk, wait here." He walked out on stage and the music started up again. Tartaglia waved goodbye and sat down on a nearby chair, waiting for the show to finish...
