1.Lemon cheesecake

"I love you mom." I whispered to a small lady laying in a hospital bed.
I walk out my head held High,tears almost brim my eyes, but I hold it back.

"Darling, are you okay?..." My aunt Peggy asks getting tissues from her bag. I nod my head.

"I am fine aunt Peggy, thanks" I breath out. I hold my younger brother Toms hand harder.

"I just hope so. It's such a shame too," she cries. She shrugs her shoulders "it was bound to happen anyways. You should have known your mom was sick the moment she started to drink." She claims

I raise an eyebrow. I start to walk down the block faster ignoring the screaming aunt behind me.

" where are we going Rose?" Tom questions behind me.
"Nowhere, just follow me"

We walk all the way to our house, I shut the front door and breath out. Nan was sacked out on the couch.

"Nanna, wake up...its me Rose." I whisper and shake her bony leg.

"ARRGHHH" she wakes up screaming
I hug her close.
"NANNA...calm down. It's just me and Tom" I whisper
She hugs me back.
"Where are you two coming from?" She groans
I look at tom who is playing with a funny looking ordament on the fire place.

"Hospital." I groan as well.
"Young lady, what have you done?...why do you need to be at the hospital?" She lectures

"I visited mom, aunt Peggy dropped us off-"
"-and we ditched her" Tom buts in.
"Oh...why?" Nanna smirks
I know she hates Peggy. ..even though her being her mom...She is still a small brat!

"She was being nosy" I say taking off my jacket
"Well-"
"I'll be in my room" I sigh and walk back into a room with crusty ceilings.

I dozz off...into a deep sleep.

My dream was that mom was better and she never had any worries of taking drugs and stuff.
We were all a happy family. Wearing nice clothes...nice houses. Nobody cried, nobody was sick....it was perfect.

My mom would always tell me "If things weren't the way they were, then how do we know how things will be in the future?" I guess it's true...but not in my situation
" miss you mom" I whisper to myself
