Chapter 2

         Kankri POV
I woke up to Karkat in my face with a worried expresion. I probably had one of my night terrors again which I have suffer with since I was a child. For some odd reason I never seem to remember them when I awaken.I sit up pushing Karkat away wiping the cold sweat off my forehead. "You don't need to be so rude, be happy I woke you up from your night terror for the 57th time." Karkat rolled his eyes "My apologies Karkat but, I would like it if you could do it at a distance." I said getting up from bed. It was 9am and the sun was just comming up. I went to the restroom to brush my teeth and shower. I feel distgusting with all this sweat.

Time skip
I put on my swim shorts and a loose shirt I had and let Karkat know I was leaving to the beach. Hopfully I can see that thing again comfriming my asumption it is a merman or something else. I arrived at the warm beach and removed my shirt, exposing my thin not so toned body. I not the strongest person in the world but I might be the curviest. I walkes over to the freezing water, walking in a bit at a time to ajust to the tempeture. Eventually, I couldn't touch the sand anymore and waited.

Cronus POV
    "Awe comon' Meenah!" "For the 48th glubbin' time, no. I have way better things do to be with your ass." Meenah spat out. "Fine then, don't be honored to go out wvith this." Meenah just scoft and swam away, ugh so hard to get. I swam up to the surface and looked around to see if that human was back;try and talk to it for a bit without it swimming away. "There it is" I said to myself spotting the human. I swam towards it; trying not to splash TOO much.

Third person
   Kankri being a bit impatient, started to swim back, only to feel something rub up against his leg. Kankri yelped and struggled to swim faster until he was grabbed by the leg. "You are not leavwin' this time chief." Kankri turned to see a very handsome face and torso; well build, sharp jaw, wet black hair, pale white skin tinted with purple, and two wavy scars on the left side of his forehead. Kankri went back to reality when Cronus waved his hand in his face "Hey you there? Hellloooo...." Kankri kicked Cronus' hand of his leg "Who- what are you?" Kankri stuttered. "Wvoah there one question at a time please. I'm the one and only Cronus Ampora~ and I am a merman." He said lifting the end of is tail up to reveal a bold purple colored tail with a light lavander fin. Kankri couldn't believe what he was seeing it all just seemed so impossible. "And you are called?" Cronus said examining him "Oh! Um Kankri Vantas." "Nice, it suits a cutie like you" Cronus said with a smirk. Kankri turned a light shade of red and began swimming back "I uh, must go now...It was nice meeting you Cronus-" "Wvait!" Cronus said grabbing his hand "Wvill you be back?" Kankri gave him a smile smile "Of course."
