Chapter 3- Unconsciously

The airport was busy as always. People trying to get into their vehicles during the pouring rain. Everything around them was moving except them.

Dayeol and Taehyun stared at each other. They did not even blink. Dayeols heart was clearly running a marathon right now when suddenly a cab honk startled dayeol. He turned around to see a cab pulled over for him to get in. Dayeol did not say anything. He simply turned around ignoring taehyun like he did not exist. He held on to his suitcase so he could put it in the boot when he felt the freezing cold hand held on to his free hand. He turned around to see taehyun holding his wrist tightly but not tightly enough to hurt dayeol.

He looked at taehyun face. He had this sad look on his face like a lost puppy. "Oh no" he thought. Dayeol knew that face well. He knew he had to get out of here quickly. Dayeol did something that would hurt his heart even further. With a stern look he pulled his hand from his wrist. Dayeol quickly turned around and put his suitcase in the boot. He got in from the other side and got into the cab.

"Sir, where do you want to go?"

"Ocean villa"

Dayeol at once turned around in the direction of the sound. His eyes were wide open.

"We are going there together."

"NO, WE ARE n...." Dayeol got cut off.

"We are really close friends" teahyun made sure to exaggerate the word really while looking at dayeol. Taehyun got into the vehicle. Dayeol could not believe what was happening right now. "Is he really going to be like this" dayeol thought. He just knew he had to get out of here right now before he might go crazy, so he tried to get out of the cab when the cab driver spoke.

"You are really lucky to find a cab, cause of the heavy rain most of the cabs are booked" Dayeol did not try to get out of the vehicle after what the cab driver said. He sat back and looked away, so he did not have to look at taehyun.

Throughout the cab ride the cab driver and taehyun were in a heavy full laughter conversation as if they were besties. Dayeol made sure not to utter words, just completely ignore taehyun when he heard his name aloud.

"Yeah, we been friends since high school day. We are Really close" again exaggerating the word really in the sentence. "We practically can't stay away from each other. Right Dayeol?". Dayeol could not believe what he was hearing. He felt like punching taehyun. And amid that the cab driver could not help but laugh loudly.

"You guys seem really close, I hope your friendship will grow strong and invincible" When the cab driver said that he unconsciously looked at taehyun. To dayeol surprise taehyun was also staring back at him. Again, they were doing it. Just staring at each other. Dayeol at once looked away. He looked at the ocean that he could see from the distance. It was beautiful. The drive seemed exceptionally long. Both cab driver and Tae-Hyun's conversation gradually dyed down.

When dayeol felt that taehyun was looking at the scenery from his side of the passenger window. He secretly glanced at him. Taehyun looked different. His hairstyle was still the same. Without thinking dayeol looked at his hands. Tae-Hyun's hands were beautiful, and he wondered whether taehyun always had veiny arms. Unconsciously dayeol looked up and stared at his lips. Suddenly an inappropriate thought came into his mind. A blush crept onto his face when he realized what he was doing. He at once looked away. He covered his mouth with his hand.

They finally arrived at the villa. The rain had stopped but the sky was still cloudy. When dayeol was about to pay the cab driver taehyun at once extended his hand to give the cab fee. Before dayeol could interfere, the cab driver had accepted his fee. He felt like he was in-depth to taehyun. He did not like it at all. They both took their suitcases from the boot. "Give me call when you boys want to go look around Jeju-do. I know this place like the back of my hand" He gave his contact information to taehyun and left.

Now it was just dayeol and taehyun. They still had a bit of walking to do. Dayeol tried to pick up his suitcase when taehyun held on to his suitcase.

"What are you doing?"

"Carry your suitcase."

"Thanks, but I can carry it."

"Ok" and pulled his hand away from the suitcase handle and walked in front of dayeol. They both got to the front of the main entrance. There was no one in front of the entrance. Dayeol wanted to give the money that taehyun gave to the driver and thought this is great opportunity to do so. Dayeol extended his hand to taehyun with the money.

"Take it" while looking away from taehyun.

Taehyun looked surprised.

"What is it?" while looking at dayeol with puppy eyes that he always does without blinking.

"Cab" dayeol said trying to keep the conversation as short as possible. For five seconds taehyun did not say anything and just chuckled. Dayeol looked at taehyun to see what he was doing. When taehyun dangerously came closer to dayeol.

"What are you doing?" Dayeol said it while stuttering. He took few steps backwards when taehyun took few steps forward. Then he realizes he could not go further away because of the wall behind him. Dayeol looked at taehyun angrily. He got closer to dayeols ear. Dayeol heart was malfunctioning. 

"You can give me a kiss on the lips instead" he said it while touching the money on dayeols hand. Dayeol was at a loss for words.
