"People are saying the night that you were found in Lucinda's bed, that you had waited until John and Clara had gone to bed to break into the house quiet, before making your way up the stairs. It's said that you looked in every room until you came across a vulnerable Lucinda, who was sound asleep in her bed. People are saying that you sneaked into Lucina's room and took advantage of her. It's also said that she had gotten pregnant that night with your pup. But she decided to keep the pup due to her wanting to be a mother so bad. When it came time to give birth, Lucinda and her pup died while she was giving birth," Equin explained.

Connor shook his head at what Equin had told him. "So, people think that low of me, to go and say that I have snuck into the house and forced Lucinda to have sex with me. That is truly what they are saying about me?"

"People say you raped Lucinda, because you are desperate to have an heir to take over as alpha for you when your time comes," Equin said.

"If I were desperate for an heir, I would have pursued you while you were a lot younger. But if I had gone and done that, then people would have a lot to say about me, showing interest in you, trying to pursue you. Had I gone through with chasing you at that time, people would have been gossiping about me being a child predator, which I'm not. Everyone who knows me know that I hate child predators and would gladly rip them apart," Connor growled out before forcing himself to calm down, before he gave Equin his side of the story on things. "Let me make it known now, I was never interested in Lucinda like that. She saw me, and she was determined to sleep with me. She forced me into being with her. I had made it clear to Lucinda many times that I wasn't into her like that. But she still came sniffing around me, trying to come up with ways to get me into her bed. I always had a sneaking suspicion that Lucinda had every intention of getting pregnant with my pup, because she wanted to keep me around. Lucinda apparently, she never liked it when I would hang around a bunch of other females. I heard from quite a few people who hung around with her, about How she would always get jealous every time. Lucinda's friends always would approach me, warning me to stop hanging around and flirting with other females who I thought had potential in carrying my pup; and that if I didn't stop, Lucinda was going to take care of them personally. I didn't think much about it, until I witnessed Lucinda attack a girl I was speaking to. The very night that people claimed I snuck into Lucinda's room, I didn't. I didn't rape her I was there to talk to John Tollerman about what his niece had done out of jealousy. I had suggested that John talk to his niece about her actions and maybe get her some help before she went around hurting anybody, or worse killing them. Anyway, I was on my way out the door, when Lucinda called down to me, asking that I come up to her room. I told her that I couldn't go up to her room and speak to her, because it wouldn't be appropriate for me to go up there alone with her. She had come down the stairs, demanding that I go up with her to her room and speak to her, and I should refuse to go up to her room, she would go around telling everyone that I raped her and that I wouldn't accept that she didn't want to be with me; though she had been nothing but obsessed with me. She wanted nothing more than to be the only woman who was in my life. But then again, it's Lucinda we're talking about. She's known to go and twist stories to make herself look like the victim in all of her stories. So, I followed her up to her room to see what she wanted. Once we were both inside, she shut the door and started kissing me. I tried to push Lucinda off of me without hurting her, but one thing led to another and the next thing I knew, I was in bed with her. She told me that we should start considering the possibility of a mating ceremony. All because she didn't want other females in Lupine ridge 'looking at what was now hers.' I refused and you know the rest of the story."

"So, you mean to tell me that you allowed Lucinda Tollerman to manipulate you into not only sleeping with her, but getting her pregnant with your pup? Why didn't you go through with having a mating ceremony to Lucinda? If you had chosen her as a mate, then you both would be happy by now with many pups," Equin said.
