Chapter one a protected scarab

Takes place in the titans

Narrator: when Jaime Reyes was practicing his skills the scarab becomes over protective of him. Scarab stops said Jaime

Scarab:  huffed fine but let me know if there is any danger he said back

Jaime huffed but agreed over protective beetle you are. Once he was done he went into his room took a nap. There wasn't any mission at the time being. Plus the scarab has other plans to do kill everything in it path. Jaime was having a nightmare.

Jaime's nightmare......

It was in the middle of the day Jaime was with family of course his father just wanted to have his son back after Jaime after what Jaime had told his family about him being a super hero so his family mostly his dad had abandoned him.

Jaime woken up screaming top of his lungs his friends had heard his screaming Jaime said star fire, "I'm alright just a nightmare" replied Jaime. Soon star fire left while the rest was at his door. Raven came into his room and hugs him Jaime hugs back and they both pulled way thankfully they see each other as siblings. On the other hand gar becomes a dog and lays on his best friend lap. Since raven went to go meditate in her room leaving with Robin, gar, and nightwing. You alright? The three asked, jaime nodded while the scarab growls at his friends. "Whoa hey!" Said gar, hiding behind nightwing. Sorry had the scarab is very protective towards me. Reply Jaime. It's fine replied gar back. Beast boy come on said nightwing so beast boy follows his father figure since his parents had died. You too Robin, he said again, once again Jaime was left alone in his bed room it wasn't really special though it just felt like home towards him. The scarab was talking to Jaime about the nightmare, jaime was already sleep since the scarab was on his back and using his armor suit as a protective shield, thanks said Jaime,

Scarab: no problem I'll keep watch from here while you sleep.

Then Jaime had quickly fell back to sleep.
Leaving the scarab taking fully of his surroundings.
