Meredith
Meredith is a soft & kind 6 year old living in Japan.Her parents moved from California to Japan when she was born.Her dad Yuki is Japanese and her mother Ania is Polish who has lived in America most of her life.She has a older brother David who is 3 years older than her and even though they fight a lot they love eachother.She doesnt have many friends.She loves nature, and especially cherry blossoms in the spring under which she often reads books.She has long black hair which almost reaches up to her knees and is always in any type of braid her mom makes for her.She also owns a white pet bunny named mayu.Everyone calls her Meri.
Finn
Finn is a 6 year old who also lives in Japan and he is pretty shy, he loves books.He is usually all alone since he doesnt really trust people and is often sad.His parents are going trough a hard divorce and fight on the daily basis,beacouse of that he hides in his closet and reads to comfort himself by escaping into another world with no worries.
AUTHOR NOTE :
So i have imagined / made Finn and Meredith as both tiny Japanese kids, i will put a similar photo down below of how i imagine them, but of course you can imagine them however you want (: but for the sake of the story they are both kids with dark hair and stereotypical Japanese face features,but Meredith has blue eyes like her mother which makes her unique while Finn has dark hair and dark eyes.

I couldnt find any better pictures since a bunch of japanese kids , especially kid models get dressed very adult-like and i want you to imagine two young kids in 2012 dressing like normal kids.
