Special chapter| Christmas Miracle

The atmosphere in the apartment was reminiscent of the day Kongpob first moved in. The air was still, as if holding its breath, and a sense of anticipation hung in the room. Suddenly, a voice broke the silence, causing Kongpob to freeze in his tracks. It was a playful voice, filled with a hint of mischief, that called out to him, "The sleepyhead is awake~"

Kongpob's heart skipped a beat, a strange sensation washing over him. His eyes widened as he carefully surveyed his surroundings once more, as if searching for any clues or signs of what was happening. Everything appeared to be just as it was before, yet there was an undeniable shift in the energy of the room.

As he tried to make sense of the situation, a figure emerged from the shadows, wearing an apron and holding a spatula. It was a man, his presence both comforting and unsettling at the same time.

The man took a step forward, a playful smile dancing on his lips, and asked, "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed again?" Kongpob stumbled backwards, his mind struggling to process what his eyes were seeing.

He blinked in disbelief, desperately hoping that this was all just a figment of his imagination. But there was no denying the reality before him — the man standing in front of him was real, and he was here in Kongpob's apartment.

Arthit's eyes, deep and penetrating, seemed to hold a world of emotions within them. When he spoke, his voice resonated with such authenticity that it felt as if every word carried a weight of truth.

Kongpob, amidst the haze of his alcohol-induced stupor, couldn't help but question the reality of the situation. His face grew pale, his breath caught in his throat, and he found himself staring at Arthit with a desperate longing for answers. In a desperate attempt to ground himself, he resorted to pinching his own flesh, seeking the sharp sting of pain to confirm his existence.

"It's not a dream..." Kongpob murmured softly, his voice barely audible, as he scrutinized Arthit's every move, searching for any sign of deception.

With a determined resolve, he gathered his scattered thoughts and regained his composure.

Arthit, unimpressed by Kongpob's momentary confusion, rolled his eyes and let out an exasperated huff. However, his annoyance quickly dissipated as he suddenly realized something, causing him to gasp in surprise. Without wasting another moment, he hurriedly made his way back to the kitchen, leaving Kongpob to his thoughts, to attend to the task of cooking.

"My bacon!" he hissed, a sharp intake of breath escaping his lips as he deftly flipped the sizzling strips in the pan. But his satisfaction was short-lived, as a sudden groan escaped him when a droplet of hot oil splattered onto his exposed skin, causing a searing pain to shoot through his hand.

Reacting swiftly, Kongpob rushed to his side, concern etched across his face as he examined Arthit's injured hand. Without hesitation, he reached over and turned off the gas, then gently guided Arthit's hand towards the nearby sink, where he turned on the faucet, allowing cool water to cascade over the affected area, providing some relief.

Arthit couldn't help but notice the pungent odor that clung to Kongpob's clothes. "You stink! Did you drink again last night?" he asked, playfully poking Kongpob's arms as he assisted him in wiping off his hand, the concern in his voice tinged with a hint of teasing.

Kongpob, still trying to fully comprehend the situation, found himself at a loss for words. "You feel too real for this to be a dream, P'Arthit..." he mumbled softly, his gaze fixed intensely upon Arthit, before he instinctively pulled the other man into a warm and comforting embrace.

He makes sure he was holding Arthit tightly, his arms wrapped securely around him. Kongpob buries his face into the male's neck, feeling the warmth of his skin against his own. He bites his lip, a mix of excitement and disbelief coursing through his veins as he tries to convince himself that this isn't a dream.
