"man cmon" i said as aunusti walked slowly into the target. We decided to have a girls night since i've been kinda sad lately with the Salem situation. My man been trying to cheer me up and whatnot but i was still kinda worried
"let's get this true crime shit" she picked up the box reading the description on the back before tossing it into the cart
"you keep getting stuff.. imma run to get snacks" i said walking away as she nodded looking around for more activities we could do that she found off tiktok
I walked into the snack aisle looking at all the options before looking over seeing Jai, Marquises hb. I didn't know what to do since me and him weren't tg anymore.. maybe i was the opps now.
I continued to grab snacks off the shelves as i sensed someone walking towards me causing my body to tense up, oh my god
"you can't speak ?" he asked walking up beside me as i placed the huge bag on chips into the buggy
"i didn't know i was obligated to" i said kinda confused on why he was speaking to me since i no longer talked to quise
He chuckled a bit under his breath staring at my small frame as i threw snacks into the buggy behind me. "quise been going crazy bout you" he said causing me to jerk my head back. How is a nigga who did nun but lie and cheat on me going crazy bout me now that i'm trying to move on?
"oh" i said dryly moving through the isle as he followed behind me
"can you grab that" i pointed at the fruit snacks on the top shelf that were too far for me to reach. He grabbed it throwing it into the buggy kinda mugging me
"why you act like IM the one did you wrong li nigga, you can be kinder" he mugged
"you knew about it, prolly encouraged it.. you're friends with a nigga like that so i know alot about your character" i shrugged. Me and Jai were on cool terms when me and marquise were dating but i'm realizing that Jai isn't really a friend when it comes to me and him.
He nodded before walking off. I rolled my eyes pushing the buggy to the juice isle to get some drinks. I put some juice in the cart before getting water. I walked towards where aunusti was at looking at her with all the stuff in her hands
