It has been uneventful today.
Four, Six and Two all had 1 client. Me, Seven, and Five have had none. We have been left with the 5 new pups all day. It is now a little later in the day.
The door swings open. A rouge that didn't smell familiar is there. "Quickly hand me the twins. I'll come back to get the others." He says. I look at him suspiciously. "Do you not want them to see their family again? I know you do not trust me, but please. For them." He almost begs.
"Take them quickly. I hear rouges down the hall." Five says. "Go pups. Goodbye. And good luck." I say. They run to the man and the door shuts.
"They've got bugs inside. It won't be long now." Seven states. "We'll be free." She finishes.
Four and Two come back shortly after. They are thrown in, both on the brink of tears. We scatter to them once the door closes. "What happened?" Five asks. "S-six..h-he.." Two stutters out. We knew. Six is dead.
"H..h-how?" Seven asks shakily. "C-client..S-six cried because they beat him too much..then..t-they..stab him.." Two stutters out, in pain. We all see eachother as family. The only ones who know what eachother has gone through, is still going through, and one of us had died. Only days before our freedom comes..
We were all silent until Two notices the Twins gone. "Where are the Twins? They're both too young to have clients." She says. "A bug." I say. Her eyes widen. "T-then..does that m-mean..?" She starts. "Yes. It won't be long now." Five comments.
- Midnight -
The man has come back. He's taken two more boys away. There are only two left now. The beta said she'd be back. Only 1 more day..
I drift off to sleep shortly after.
