chapter fifteen | you, me, & dupree

"ALEX!" I yelled as he splashed me with water.

He laughed and continued to splash me.

I eyed him, as in to say do-that-one-more-time-and-I-swear.

And being the idiot he was, he did it again.

I began to chase after him on the sand.

The bitch was fast.

I began to pant, while his legs carried him quickly across the sand.

I lost sight of him and thought I should give up until I felt strong hands grabbing me by the waist.

"Alex! Put me down!" I punched his back as he slung be over his shoulder.

"Nuh-uh princess." He chuckled, throwing me in the lake.

I resurfaced up the water and laughed along with him.

The sun began to go down.

I wrapped a warm towel around myself, heading inside the cabin with Alex who had his towel wrapped around his torso, exposing his abs.

"My eyes are up here." He jokes, smirking.

I rolled my eyes and slapped his arm.

"Shut up, Adams."

"Says the one staring at my six pack."

I rolled my eyes once more and headed to the restroom that rid across the long hallway.

I shut the door and turned the shower on.

I jumped in and relaxed a bit.

Today was good.

I snuggled up close to Alex, taking sips of my hot chocolate.

Alex was sound asleep, his jaw hung open slightly as soft snores came from his mouth.

He looked adorable.

We decided it was best to spend the night here as it was too dark to get back to the car.

I was watching you me and dupree on the old school tv and laughed along with the movie.

What can I say? It was gold!

I set the hot chocolate on the side table and turned the lamp off.

I felt Alex's arms pull me closer to him.

The smell of him was distinctive. In a good way.

I rested my head on the nape of his neck and wrapped my arm around his naked torso.

The last words I heard before I fell in a deep sleep was,

"good night princess."

Ugh this chapter is too much. THEY ARE TOO ADORABLELELKANQNQB

But... Short and cute chapter as kind of a filler since I already updated this morning with a long chapter.
