DREAM POV
NOT EDITED

This shoe store has already been raided. The glass of the store is broken, shards all over the floor that we're about to step on. I can see boxes of shoes on the shelf, some sample shoes moved around a bit yet still lay on display, and a decent amount of stock has been shuffled around on the concrete floor.

"There's glass everywhere." Georgie gapes, staring at the inside of the building in awe. "Are we gonna wear shoes from a shop that's been broken into? What if the shoes are, like, poisoned?"

"Don't be such a princess, George." Nick rolls his eyes and walks in, carrying both the boys as he walks so they don't step in glass like he is.

"It isn't even that bad." Colby shrugs a little and heads on in with Sam. "If you need new shoes then you should pick some now rather than later."

"Dreamy, can you get them for me?" My love gives me the best puppy face he can muster up. "I'll let you kiss me more often."

"I can already kiss you as much as I want, can't I? I'll hold your hand the whole time, 'kay? Let's go, princess." I take his hand as he pouts and lead him towards the Nike shoes where Nick and Karl are with their boys. "Pick whichever ones you want and I'll buy them for you." I smirk at Georgie as he rolls his chocolate eyes at me, a glimmer of honey shimmering in them.

"Whatever," he scoffs, glancing at the shoes. "They aren't even that expensive, I could buy them myself."

"Whatever you want, love." I kiss his hand and start to look at the shoes as well, our fingers staying intertwined.

After a moment George turns to me with a grin, "wear these ones."

They're army green air force ones that are in good shape, a little dirtier than the dark blue version that George is holding. I take them from his hands and glance at the size which, surprisingly enough, he guessed correctly.

"I like them and they're the right size."

"I know, you've told me your shoe size before. They're the same ones as mine so you'll match me." George drags me over to a bench that he wipes off with an adorable grimace. "Try them on."

I do as told, trying on the shoes that fit like Cinderella's glass slipper must've. "They're a perfect fit."

"Same." George smiles softly, blushing when I pinch his cheek. "Stop, idiot."

"Walk around in them before we leave so you don't complain later on." Sapnap hollers at me. He's right though, I don't want to dislike the way they feel when we walk. It'd especially be an issue considering we're walking everywhere nowadays.

"Sapnap, I found the Vans! Come on, we gotta get us some!" Karl sounds really excited as he rushes off with Nick running behind him to catch up, a kid on each hip.

"I guess they're getting Vans." George giggles a little before standing with the navy blue air forces on his feet. "We have to try them out, Dreamy." He fruitlessly attempts to pull me up by my arm before giving up with the roll of his eyes. "Dream!"

"Yes, George?"

"Come on!" He pouts and I finally stand up, giving up on testing him.

"Alright, Gogs, let's go." I drag him out of the store and we walk a little on the sidewalk, concluding that the shoes are good enough before returning to the group that are still occupied by browsing at shoes.

Instead of going over to Sapnap and Karl we go over to Colby and Sam because George says that I 'scare the children too much.'

"Hey," Colby greets as we come up to them. "I see you found some shoes. We got some good hiking boots so we're done, too."
