"I have a question..." I said rolling the lollipop in my mouth.

I was standing in front of the store's window staring at the zombies that passed by snarling every now and then at nothing in particular. I noticed that zombies liked snarling. Kenny was sitting on the counter also looking out of the window. We did not leave the store yet.

Kenny made a sound that told me to ask whatever I was asking and even if I didn't get a response, I would have asked anyways. "Actually, I have many questions." I said in an afterthought. I heard Kenny hum telling me to ask anyway. I glanced back at him to see that he was too into sucking that lollipop which explained why he was unusually quiet.

I should take more lollipops.

"First of all, how are we going to get past those zombies?" I asked looking back out of the window. The numbers increased and going out here right now would be suicide. Kenny squinted his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows thinking. That was his thinking face, and it looked kind of silly with the lollipop in his mouth.

"I saw this movie once..." he said looking at his crowbar.

"What you see in movies doesn't always apply in real life."

"I know, but this might work." He said taking out the Dettol bottle out of his bag.

He ushered for me to come closer, and I did taking uncertain steps. "What do you have in mind?" I asked eyeing the bottle in his hand. "The guys in the movie covered themselves with zombie blood so that they don't attract any zombies." I nodded since what he said is right. If we covered ourselves with smelly zombie blood, the zombies won't give a damn about us.

Good plan, one problem.

"We don't have any zombie blood, and I don't think the blood on your shirt is enough." I said scrunching my face in disgust at his dirty shirt. Kenny smiled nodding. "You're right. You're so sharp, Roddy." He said throwing an arm around my shoulder making sure to rub the bloodied spot on his shirt on mine. "Ugh!" I pushed him away making him laugh.

Thanks to him, now there's a huge brown smelly stain on my shirt. I glared at him and he just smiled at me like an idiot. That jerk.

"Anyway," He said taking the bottle and hopping off the counter. "We're using this as a substitute." He held the bottle up. I took the bottle from his hand and took a whiff out of it and I grimaced. "Yeah, it might work."

"It will. Just pour this on you."

"You go first."

"No."

"Fine." I said taking the bottle. I inhaled and lifted up the bottle while Kenny sat on the counter again anticipating the moment. I whimpered and paced a little and then I walked up to Kenny again. "Come on, get it over with." He said bored.

I nodded stepping closed to him. "Hold my hand I'm scared."

"Man up."

"Don't want to."

"Roddy..."

"Ok, fine."

I leaned on the counter and put the bottle right above my head. Then I poured it on Kenny's head making him jump in surprise then close his eyes as the liquid covered his whole body. "Sometimes, Rod, you can be an ass." he said opening one of his beautiful dark green eyes to glare at me.

That shade of green really goes well with the yellowish-brownish color of the liquid.

"You look hot drenched like a rat." I smirked.
