In search of lost time

Third person pov...

He was standing in front of door, not sure about knocking the door, he was wet from the rain, his body was little shivering (don't know from crying or rain) he was struggling for knocking, his hand was on the door but didn't get strength to knock, after struggling for 5 to 7 minute he slowly knocked. No one came to open the door. Next time he knocked little harder.

But again, no sign.

"Maybe he's not home"

"it's almost midnight, where would he be!" he answered himself.

"Maybe he is with someone?"

"Or maybe he is sleeping!"

All these thoughts were running in his mind, he made his mind to go back, he turned around and then he heard door knobbing sound, he turned again, and door opened.

And there he saw, love of his life, all sleepy, messy hair, looking like Greek God, he was squeezing his big eyes because of light he turned on.

"Magnus" the other person surprised to see him at this time.

Magnus- "Alexander" he whispered slowly.

There was silent for a moment, both didn't know what to say, the one was surprised and other one was guilty and sad.

Alec- "what are you doing here these hours, is everything okay? You all right magnus?" his voice was no less than worried.

Magnus was looking down the floor, he didn't know what to say or why he is here, he doesn't even know for himself.

Magnus- he nodded "yes, do you have company?"

Alec- "oh no, sorry come in, you must be cold, you want some coffee?" Alec was trying his best to be normal.

Magnus- "yes, hot coffee would be nice."

Alec- "how you all soaked in rain" first he went to bathroom for towel and gave it to magnus.

Magnus- "I was on my way and then it started" Alec gestured him to sit on couch.

Alec- "and you just walked in rain, last time I know, you hated rain?"

Magnus- "people change!"

And again, there was silent, which was killing both of them.

Alec- "why are you here Magnus?" he can't be normal that long, he notices that magnus was crying, it's been three years, but he knows the difference between wet eyes and cried eyes of his love, his not spiked hair and ruined makeup is witness that some terrible thing happened to him, how can he not notice all these details, he still loves him.

Magnus- "I'm, I'm here for you" he looked in Alec's eyes and finally got little courage.

Alec- "what do you mean?" little hope was hopping in his mind, but he was afraid to be hurt again.

Magnus- "Alec, I'm so sorry, I was fool, I choose responsibilities over love" he walked to Alec and held his hand. His eyes got watery again and he let out those tears.

This little distance between them killing magnus, he is done with being alone, he just wanted to sink In Alec's arms for forever.

Alec- "why now, and what about your wife and child?" on the other hand Alec's situation was not less than magnus.

Magnus- he started crying "I don't know, I don't know... I just don't want to be alone more, please... (he was looking at Alec for one chance, he came close to his lips) please... I want you; I want you, Alec." He was about to kiss Alec.
