Cole's POV
I threw my suitcase on the floor and collapsed on the bed. I have a four and a half hours before I have to meet Dr. Matthews at the aquarium. I quickly set an alarm on my phone and answered Josh's text, explaining why I didn't meet him this morning for coffee like we always do.
Crawling into bed, I thought about the boy on the plane. I realized that I really, honestly had no one in my life that cared about me. I mean the agency took care of me, but no one really stopped and took the time to know me. Sure, they all knew I had a past, but really, they let me ignore it.
Slowly, I fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Beep. Beep. Beep.
I slowly got out of bed and turned off the alarm. I had about 45 minutes before I had to be at the aquarium. I took a quick shower, twisted up my hair into a beet bun, and grabbed my bag, checking for my wallet and license.
I decided to walk to the aquarium. The weather was nice and I got lost in thought. I started wondering what would happen if I never went home. It's not like I had that many friends anyway. I guess the agency mucho care, if only because they lost a valuable agent. If that.
I so far gone in my mind that I didn't notice the boy walking towards me.
We ran smack into each other.
"Oh! I am so sorry. I didn't see you there. Are you okay? Did you drop anything?" The boy had a faintly British accent.
"I'm fine. You?"
"I'm good. Felix, by the way." Felix had blonde hair and sky blue eyes. And a scar that ran down fri his eyebrow to his jaw.
"Cole. Where'd you get the scar?" I asked. It was probably rude of me to ask, but I was genuinely curious.
"Got in a fight with the wrong person. No big deal." I waited. He didn't elaborate.
"Well, I have to go meet a... friend at the aquarium."
He smiled like he knew a secrete. "Boyfriend?" he asked.
"No."
"Can I meet you later then?" He looked like he actually cared about my answer and wanted to meet me later.
"Um... sure. I don't know how long the meeting will go..." I trailed off not knowing what to say. Meetings with others from the agency could last anywhere from five minutes to five hours.
"How about I meet you at the coffee shop tomorrow? At, maybe, nine?"
"Okay." He started to walk away. "Wait!" Felix turned. "Which coffee shop?"
"The one right next door to the Baker hotel."
I was about to agree, but he was gone. I checked my watch. 2:55. Crap. I started sprinting to the aquarium.
2:59. I made it. Composing myself I walked inside. The lady at the counter, it seemed, did not want me to make my appointment.
"Ten bucks."
"Um... look I'm in a hurry, I need to go." I tried to push past her but she got in my way. Laura, her name tag read.
"No money, no entrance. Move it."
"Fine." Laura, who extremely smug smiled, thinking she won. "Is there a discount if someone, me for instance, is here on government business?"
Laura's jaw dropped. "What?"
"You see, I'm here to meet a college of mine."
"O-of course! Right away, miss."
I nodded and walked through. 3:01. Now I'm late. I rushed off in the direction of the turtles, where Dr. Matthews is supposed to be waiting, per text I got from Reid this morning.
"Cole, I assume?" came a deep voice from my left.
"Yes. Dr. Matthews?"
"Indeed. Your fluent in Russian, correct?"
"Yes."
He smiled. "Good. I have reason to believe there will be a plot to kill the Russian minister. You will go in undercover and find out if there is infect a plan and stop it. I'll be sending in one person with you. His name is Felix."
Felix?! No way. I'll be talking to him in the morning.
"Alright. When do I leave? Tomorrow. I believe you and Felix have already met?" Matthews asked.
"Yes. I believe we have. I'll see you tomorrow." With that I left.

Hello, readers. I'm Kali. The author. So first, I'd like to apologize for taking so long to update. Originally I wasn't planing on posting anything until the story was completed because I know how much it bothers me when authors don't update and take forever to finish. But, I have this friend who absolutely begged me to read my story, and I caved and posted the first few chapters for him to read.
I'm sorry again for the delay. Unfortunately, I am not going to promise regular updates. I will write when I can. Plus, I'm in school now, so everything is hit and miss. Hehe. So, if that's a problem for you, I apologize. Kinda.... not really. I'm really writing this story for me so if you have a problem with random updates, please don't overload me with rude comments. If you have suggestions or questions if be happy to get back to you.
I don't own Peter or Felix, however I'm kinda creating my own Lost Boys because nobody specific was mentioned in OUAT. That's it, guys. Bye. Please don't hate me.
Oh! Also, I probably won't add an authors note in all the chapters.
