Elena's POV

It's been 1 week already and tomorrow Cam and I were leaving to Magcon Dallas. I was really excited to see my friends again. Cam and Katrina have been going on more dates and Bart let her come and tour with us for Magcon. I've been texting everyone telling them how happy I am to see them again. Right now, I was home alone because Katrina and Cameron went to dinner. I was a loner. I laughed to myself as I prepared some macaroni and cheese. When I finished, I went up to my room and thought about Matt and Nash. I liked them both but I just couldn't make up my mind. Ugh, I feel like a slut. I plugged in my iPhone 5s to my iHome and started dancing to You and Me by Bassnectar. It was my favorite song right now. After a few minutes of weird dancing, I lay down on bed and thought again about the guys. I thought about Matt and remembered when I first met him and that tickle fight we had and when I fell asleep on him. My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call. I turned over to look at the caller i.d. and saw my brother's name appear. I quickly accepted the call.

" Hey Cam. What's up?"

" Nothing much, Katrina and I finished dinner and we are on our way home. Didn't get to bored?" He said.

I laughed and said " Nope, I just made some dinner and ate alone and watched a movie alone and laid in bed alone." I said sarcastically. Then, Cam said something really funny and I started laughing and felt a throbbing pain in my chest. I shrugged it off and suddenly, I rolled off the bed. The pain became worse.

" Elena? Elena?" I heard Cam's faint voice coming from my phone. I tried standing up, I took support from the nightstand. When I stood up, my, vision started getting blury and I had a big head-ache. The pain on my upper-chest was still there. I tried, walking to my bathroom, where my medicine was. But, I could barely lift my feet up. Then, I started coughing hysterically while slowly moving towards the bathroom. I looked at my hand that covered my mouth while coughing and saw red liquid, blood. This was not good. I was slowly making my way to the bathroom but instead I ended up stumbling down a flight of stairs. I felt as my body rolled down the hardwood steps and the last thing I remember was hearing my head crack as it hit the last step before my vision went black.

Am I dead? Wait, I can't be because I'm thinking right now. I hope Cameron comes home soon. Ouch, my head hurts. Wait, if I'm going to be brought to the hospital, can I still go to Magcon?

Cameron's POV

"Elena? Elena?" I called hopelessly on the phone, but received no answer. I was getting worried as hell.

I turned to Katrina as she mouthed ' what happened?' her face full of mixed confusion and worry.

I shook my head as I ended the call.

" We need to get home now, something might've happened to Elena." I gulped with worry as we ran to my car.

We quickly drove off, as I murmured cuss words as I drove. I hope nothing happened to El.

As we approached the house, I quickly parked my car in the driveway and rushed to the door.

I busted open the door and saw a lifeless Elena on the steps off the stairs, blood everywhere.

I shed a tear as I heard Katrina let out a sob.

" Call an ambulance, now!" I yelled and turned to Katrina who was shakily pulling out her phone.

I quickly rushed to my sister who was laying down on the floor, without movement.

I pulled her head on my lap and grabbed a towel, to soak the blood.

God, why was this happening, and to my sister, she didn't deserve any of this.

I started sobbing quietly, I looked up to see Katrina, crying onto her phone as she called an ambulance.

" Yes, I need an ambulance." She said, her voice cracking.

After a few minutes of wailing and crying and saying 'no' for the millionth time, Katrina and I watched as my sister was laid down carefully on a gurney.

" Anyone here her family?" One of the paramedics asked.

I raised my head and let out another sob.

" Please come with us." they said.

I turned to Katrina and handed her my car keys.

" Here, drive to the hospital and meet me there." I said to her.

She gulped, then nodded and took the car keys.

I quickly ran to the ambulance and stepped inside.

I looked down at my sister, she was wearing an oxygen mask, and I heard her breathing slowly.

Her eyes were closed, and her body still.

-

We finally arrived at the hospital, the paramedics quickly rushed her out of the ambulance and took her into the hospital and rushed her into one of the rooms. I quickly followed but was stopped by the door by one of the doctors.

" Sir, sorry but you are not aloud in here until further notice." he said in a quiet tone.

" No, I need to be there. She needs me!" I argued.

" Sorry sir, but you can't be in here. You can wait in the hospital's lobby." he said before closing the door.

I sighed loudly and started crying once again as I made my way slowly to the lobby.

I sat by one of the seats and continued sobbing quietly, my head in the hands.

I then heard the doors burst open to see Katrina, anger and tears shown all over her face.

" Katrina." I simply said.

I watched her as her attention went to me. She quickly ran to me and hugged me while sobbing in my shirt.

" Why does this have to happen to her?" She wailed, tugging on my shirt.

" She doesn't need this." I answered, my voice cracking.

We were soon interrupted by a doctor, waking towards us.

" Mr. Dallas?" He asked.

I stood up, wiping my tears. " Yes?"

The doctor put his hand on my shoulder and sighed " We have a problem."
