Ever pov (point of view) :
"I should text her, no what's the point she won't text back", I say to myself. Me and Addison haven't talked in 2 years, "it's been to long". I still wonder how we were ever drove apart. Thinking about all of this makes me depressed, at least everything I think about her is all good. I remembered Addison and me taking the long route home from school because we wanted to spend some more time together. We walked and talked about this one guy she had to crush on and she was asking me what I thought about him. I told her he's a really nice guy and your blind if you haven't already noticed that he likes you back. She looked at me with a shocking astonishment, "he likes me". She began to turn bright red and looked at the ground the rest of the way home smiling. "I miss her so, if only we could go back to the way things were", sighing at the fact that might never happen.
After I while I couldn't help myself I had to text her and maybe just maybe things will be different today. / hey it's been awhile, I would really like to talk./ I sent the message. I put the phone down on the table and instantly my phone goes off to my ringtone! Someone is calling me? Looking at the Caller ID and the name pulled up was, Addison! I quickly picked it up but scrambled around wondering if I should answer it.
I took a long deep breath and accepted the call. "Hello", I stutter. "Hey, Ever how are you", she asked hesitantly as if I would react harshly. "I'm good, how are you". "I'm fine", she says faintly. After that our conversation breaks into silence. The science began to take over our conversation a bit longer than I had expected. "Um, so, are you doing anything tomorrow", she asked."No, I'm actually not", I say with a slight sigh. "Okay do you think maybe we can hang out in town and talk for a while"? "Um,"what should I say, we haven't hung out in forever..."sure". I was really startled that she even asked that question! "Great, well I'll see you tomorrow then", she said happily."Yeah", I answered. Then we hung up.
I woke up the next morning like a nervous wreck! I had no idea how today would turn out. Trying to calm down I put on my favorite outfit ( a grey t-shirt that's hemmed at the shoulders, black leather jacket, skinny, worn, blue jeans, and my black leather boots that end right below my knees.) While rushing to the door I am stoped by my parents concerned words. "Were are you going?", my mother asked."I'm going into town with Addison for a while. I'll be back home later." Her look of concern faded and she became curious, she knew that me and Addison haven't seen each other in a while and that worried her. "Ever, be careful", she said smiling, trying to hide her true emotions. Smiling back "I will."
Starting out the door I headed for my 2013 mustang, with a shiny, black color exterior. Patting down my jacket for my keys I pulled them out and started the engine. Listening to it roar was my favorite thing to do when about to head out away from home. I move my hand around the floorboards looking for my metallica disc, "I know it's around here somewhere, ah ha!" Slipping it out of its case I put it into the player, and turn up the music. "Now I'm ready to go", I say while speeding down the road with dust trailing behind.
30 minutes later I arrive at town and out of the corner of my eye I see Addsion leaning against the ledge is a small rundown building. I drive past and park. Getting out of th car my eyes fix on her, she hasn't changed a bit. Her hair still a pure brown with the most deepest, dark blue eyes. Slowly we walk up to each other, unsure about the greeting to choose I say "hi."Looking at me,"hi", she says stretching out her arms toward me.
With sudden relief I rush into her arms and feel her warm embrace. Releasing my breath that I have been holding in since I saw her, making me begin to sob. "Its been to long", I say tightening my grip fearing that if I let go I will lose her forever. "I know", she says back also sounding like she was in grief. We finally pull back and look at one another as if we were just born into the world and these were the first faces we were to see.
Addison pov:
"There is much I need to say to you, but there is all but good time for that. How about we go have fun and catch up on things", I insisted. Her emotions grew soft and she nodded with a smile. Looking at her for the first-time in 2 years I can finally see her dim green eyes that almost seem grey if you look at them closely. Her hair is a dirty blonde with a tint of red running through it, the color brings out her eyes. Coming up to her we walk side by side and begin talking immediately.
Shortly after we head to Wal-Mart and bought pie and paper plates, with plastic forks. Eating our pie in the car I turn up the music." Ah metallica", I said laughing a little. " Yeah I love metallica", she said acting confused forgetting that I haven't been with her in a while so how am I to know what her knew hobbies are. Her face grew sad and I instantly pulled up a new topic. "Hey there's a place I want to show you". She looked up and questioned " what is this place". "You'll find out", while saying that I started up the car and sped down the streets to soon reach my destination.
Ever pov:
About 20 minutes later we show up at an abandoned building, it's dark out so I can't tell exactly where we are. Addison stops the car and gets out, I do the same. "Where are we", I ask. "Look a little closer", she smirks. I look again, then I realize it's a tv production set that use to produce some of our favorite movies! "Oh my God, how did you find this place!" I ask in amazement.
"Well I saw this building while driving down this road it was overdue for a makeover, so I talked to the owner and he literally handed it to me the deed and the keys",she said clattering the keys in her right hand. "Wow", I exclaimed. "Shall we", Addison said showing me to the door way.
