09:30am - Main Mansion

Jungkook's POV
Stepping through the very well known hallway, I saw Jackson standing in front of Y/N's office as he always was, yet normally accompanied by me. When he saw me, his face turned and changed, a smile on his face.

'Dude you're back' Jackson said placing his hand on my shoulder. I smiled back 'We've been wondering how you were. Everyone knows about your promotion'

'News spread fast uh?'

'You know how it is around here' he shrugged, standing back 'Congratulations'

'Thanks man'

'And also good luck actually. I can't even think of staying with that woman all day, it really takes bravery' he chuckled at his partner's state 'You know how much she scares me'

'Yeah I know-' before I could finish, the door of the office suddenly opened revealing a well known face as well, her eyes meeting mine as soon as she noticed my presence, which was obviously a surprise for her.

'Jeon!' she let out through her pinkish lips, making me bow. It seemed like she was about to do something but she ended up turning back on her feet 'Come in, I need to speak to you' she said and I nodded politely 'Wang, I was about to tell you please call Lizzie over to the main rooms. I forgot to tell her something and the main housekeeper is probably upstairs' she told Jackson and he quickly replied and left the hallway. She then turned to me, gesturing to come after her before going inside again.

I followed her, taking the same steps as her, as she walked forward to her desk at the back of the room, with her straight brown jeans and her black heeled boots. She turned to me and sat on the chair, telling to do the same.

'So' she started sipping on the coffee upon her desk ''I have some things to tell you. You already know about your new job, so furthermore you have to stop all your other duties since you'll be with me from now on' I listened as she spoke, without looking at me 'Also, you have to accompany me at any time of the day, so you must me available. Starting now, I have a meeting in an hour, we'll be leaving in half an hour'

I nodded in confirmation and she faced me this time 'One more thing' she said placing the cup upon the desk this time 'From now on, you'll be my main protection, if something goes wrong it's your responsibility, I trust you so don't screw up'

'I won't' I told her with a strict voice, knowing perfectly everything would go as planned.

'Good' she nodded 'You can leave now. I'll see you in a bit'

I left. Jackson wasn't waiting outside so I went to the kitchen where expected him to be. I needed an update on what had been happening in the Mansion while I wasn't present. But as soon as I stepped inside, found another familiar eyes, which quite almost didn't remember.

'Jungkook! You're back!' she said happily, wearing the warmest smile on her face. I smiled back, wouldn't want any enemies or people who didn't like me even if I was in a much higher position.

'Hey Lizzie' I innocently said with a friendly voice.

'How are you feeling? You are at the top now' she told me now stepping forward in his direction. Of course she had heard about it. Lizzie always looked just like a naive girl but she knew very much, if not all.

'Yes, yes I am. It's not that big of a deal'

'When will your work start?'she asked.

Y/N must have told her I thought as standing in the same place looking at her light brown eyes.

'Today. I'm accompanying the Leader somewhere'

'Good' she nodded 'I'm happy for you. You reached really high just in a few months. I know she trusts you, so don't do anything bad'
