Silently she floats through darkness
A ship clad in worn steel,
Fueled by madness
And heart that won't heal.
At the wheel is her captain
Staring quiet and still,
With skin smooth as satin
And eyes that could kill.
Alone she wanders the stars
Searching for what was once hers,
Something lost in blood and wars
Ignoring the sorrow it incurs.
Onward she goes
On a never ending hunt
Haunted by her memories
Unafraid of what she might confront
Oh, the places she will go,
The things she shall see,
Finding things that men shouldn't know
Things she should just let be.
But stubborn and determined is she
Completely unaware of the destruction
She will rain on you and me.
