Empty, cold with endless paths.
Scaramouche was sitting in a blank room wandering where he ended up. He couldn’t feel anything, no feelings and no emotions presence. He kinda loved the place.
This was what he always searched for eternity. He thought for a second 'am i dead?'
Definitely no, not that he wasn't aware of. He smiled even after thinking if he had died by any chance. He always craved for this. Having to live for an eternity and being immortal was a dream for anyone but after a while it becomes a nightmare, playing with your soul, driving you crazy till archon’s know where? There's no death!
He lied down on the floor, closing his eyes. It was peaceful. He had no inspiration to continue his life that was why he decided to join the fatui, just so he can grant someone else's wish. He said:
"Cause no one could grant mine."
"You sure about that?"
He felt like he was sleeping on someone else's lap. That person patted his head. He went from a calm drowsy boy to a panicked one. He rushed and stood up to see that the voice he heard was actually the one he was thinking might be. To his surprise it was.
"Melanie? Is that you?"
"Miss me?"
The area had been changed since he closed his eyes. It was more like heaven to be honest or he thought so. His eyes began to tear up and he put his hands on them so he can avoid crying till he feels relieved.
"What are you doing here? Am i dead too?"
She played with her hair in a shy manner but grinned simultaneously.
"Why did you hesitate when you first see her?"
She was right on the topic, scaramouche drowned in his so-called thoughts "i didn't."
"You did."
He knew he couldn't hide it "yes but i wanted to deny it."
She laughed and put both of her hands on his eyes covering it from the place.
