Chapter 2

Earth Prime - Year 2023

Location - India, Uttar Pradesh

It was another day. However, this wasn't just an ordinary day for Mark Maverick for him to have a bit of an encounter with Sonic and his friends.

The alarm on his clock started beeping.

Mark Maverick is grown by the annoyance of his alarm and pauses it.

Mark Maverick in mind: [I still am not going to forget that day.. It still feels a bit weird to actually meet a fictional character from Sega to be in the real world.. but who am I kidding? I am indeed the world's greatest hero, Gridman..]

Mark Maverick got off from his bed and started stretching his body and left his room.

Mark Maverick turns around to the corner to see Knuckles and Tails talking to each other.

Mark walked past the two mobians heading to the bathroom.

When the moment Mark went inside the bathroom, he saw Amy using one of the toothbrushes he also put toothpaste on his toothbrush and brushed his teeth next to Amy.

Amy and Mark felt a bit awkward at the situation that they're in.

After when they were done brushing your teeth, seeing if they were 100% bright white.

Amy (Soinc Prime) to Mark: Well, this is kind of awkward for us to actually be in the bathroom and brush your teeth together..

Mark to Amy (Soinc Prime): I know I don't get the wrong idea. I have a girlfriend, but she is unusual type...

Amy (Soinc Prime) to Mark: Is that so what exactly is your girlfriend like...?

Mark to Amy (Soinc Prime): Well, she's rather the most chatty type, including with doing the magician thing..

Amy (Soinc Prime) to Mark: Well, that is rather something interesting..

Mark and Amy got out of the bathroom and made his way to the kitchen and looked at the living room to see his pet Tembo the big gray asian elephant this thing on a sofa alongside Tangle the Lemur (IDW) and Whisper the Wolf (IDW) playing a game of checkers.

Tangle the Lemur (IDW) to Tembo the Big Gray asian elephant: okay, you big gray lumpy, checkmate..?

Tembo the Big Gray asian elephant trumpet back, Tembo using his elephant trunk moving one of the checker pieces, taking away one of the check pieces that belongs to Tangle the Lemur (IDW).

Tangle the Lemur (IDW) to Tembo the Big Gray asian elephant: I have to admit talk about a bakery package room like yourself is actually smart

Tembo, the Big Gray asian elephant, trumpeted with Pride and used his elephant trunk, nudging it against Tangle the Lemur (IDW).

Sonic, Shadow, Rouge watching TV on news report.

News reporter: On other news, Gridman is the greatest hero, stopping bank robbers, and also stopping Kaijus.. here are some previous footage of secnes..

Showing the scenes of Gridman stopping robbers, showing a second scene of Gridman the size of a giant fight against two kaijus brutally beating them up.

Rouge the Bat (Sonic Prime): well now whoever this guy certainly seems to be one heck of a hero fight against these monster creatures known as kaijus.

Mark Maverick didn't really say much knowing that he is Gridman. She was making some breakfast for himself, including Sonic and his friends.

He poured some Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal in a bowl for Tails and then made some scrambled eggs and boiled eggs for himself. Sonic Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Tangle, Whisper Shadow and Big the cat.

Knuckles and Tails also made their way to the living room to see the news of this hero known as Gridman.

Gridman, on the news, looked at it with a heroic look and determined looks on his eyes with heroic pose.

Gridman on the TV: have no fear great citizens, for I am the Great Gridman the protector and savior of all!

Many citizens cheered and clapped for Gridman on the TV.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Prime): I'll certainly since this guy really knows how to make such a heroic entrance!

Knuckles the Echidna (Sonic Prime): I know, but this guy also has the ability to turn into a giant to fight against those creatures known as Kaijus.

Miles "Tails" Prower (Sonic Prime): I know, but I have to admit he's one heck of a cool superhero!

Mark Maverick was done finishing with the breakfast, so listening to Sonic and his friends talk about Gridman also knowing himself.

Mark Maverick: "So, you guys like Gridman?"

Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Prime): "Yeah, he seems pretty cool! Wonder what it's like to be a hero like him."

Amy Rose (Sonic Prime): "I'm sure it's intense. We've had our fair share of intense moments."

Mark Maverick smiled at Sonic and his friends, appreciative of their enthusiasm and curiosity towards their new lives on Earth Prime.

Mark Maverick: "Well, you might get a chance to see him in action one day."

The breakfast time became more lively after that, with Sonic and his friends asking more questions about the world they're now stuck in and Mark Maverick patiently answering them. In the meantime, Tembo was being his docile self, Froggy was swimming happily in his little bowl and the robots were being surprisingly quiet, their sensors on Sonic and his friends, possibly getting more curious about these new inhabitants in their home.
