memories

chapter 1

26th june 2022

I packed all my things and placed it inside the car. I am going to my new school today. This is going to be a new beginning of my life. The moment I entered the car I saw tears in my sister's eyes. I don't know how to react to this situation. I always tried not to keep any kind of emotional attachment with my sister. I don't know what to do now so I decided to stay in the car. My mother who sat beside me told me to give her a hug so came out of the car and gave her a hug and after few seconds I broke the hug but she was still hugging me and crying. After two minutes she broke the hug and I sat back in the car and I left.

After travelling for five hours I reached the school campus. I opened the hostel gate and saw students eating their snacks. "welcome janani" my warden told. I went inside along with my parents. In the hostel requirements form they didn't mention anything about books so my parents were inquiring about it to warden and in the mean time I took my luggage bag inside the dorm. I kept the bag and came out. Warden introduced a girl to me "she is Nikkitha. She is also a in 11th grade but biology group." I said hi to her and she waved her hand and asked me "Do you know Telugu?" 

"no" I said

"Do you know English?"

"Yes. I know"

Then she showed me a thumbs up and said "ok". 

After this conversation I came out of dorm and saw my parents waiting of me. As soon as I came out my mom told me "come fast we need to go to buy books and uniform." Then I left the place with my parents.

It was a exhausting four hour process. After four hour of purchase I came back to hostel. I kept all the things inside and came out to send off my parents. Nikkitha also came out along with me. I said bye to my mom and saw tears coming out of her eyes. I am more sentimentally attached to my mom but still not even a single drop of tear left my eyes. "Take care and be safe" my mom told. 

"ok ma bye"

"don't worry aunty. I will take care of her"Nikkitha told. I don't know why she said that. I don't think she also know why she said that. I came back to dorm with Nikkitha after my parents left. She helped me in unpacking and arranging things in my cupboard. After arranging I spreed my bed spreed in the bed next to her bed and we both had a small conversation before we slept.
