Ever thought why we call it heart-break when someone we love hurt us?
It's just an organ in our body right? Why would it hurt? Actually our brain works and let us know it is paining us right?
True that.
Then again why do we say it broke our heart?
Because have you even felt your head paining when someone hurt you? Or is it that you feel your chest paining even though you don't have any heart problems.
Interesting right?
Even though we are control by our brain, we always mention heart while talking about love.
Heart and brain connected with eachother! It's is baseless to say heart actually breaks no?
But it does. When you see your loved ones leaving you, the first thing that would pain is your heart.
You would feel the pinch in your chest.
When you'll see you loved one loving someone else the first thing you would hold is your chest. You would clutch it like your life depends on it.
You would feel your heart beating faster seeing your loved one betraying you as well as it would beat faster whenever you would see the person you love infront of you.
Doesn't matter how much time has past, if you are still in love with the person it would be your heart who will go crazy and beat like maniac.
Tsk! Just a stupid organ.
That's what Jungkook thought. Why did it have to be so complicated. Whyy did it have to be like this?
Why did his heart have to go crazy? Why did it have to beat so fast seeing the person who forgot about you?
Why did it have to beat so fast for someone that hurt you the most possible way?
Why did his heart have to beat like crazy for the person who themselves broke it in the first place?
Why?
When will it behave normal around that certain red haired male?
When will it understand that for the person it was beating faster is the one who shattered it into pieces?
When will it let Jungkook be in peace?
Jungkook didn't know! Neither his heart did.
He knew his heart was beating fir the wrong person. It shouldn't.
Sometimes, even if you love someone endlessly you choose to stay happy just by loving yourself.
Sometimes prioritising yourself wouldn't be wrong.
It's ok to leave the person you love for your own mental peace.
And that was what Jungkook was feeling.
Even though his heart still belongs to Taehyung, he didn't want to belong to that certain someone anymore.
Even though looking at the beautiful boy still makes his breath hitched, he still would prefer to choose prioritise himself.
He would rather love himself now. And his children. And maybe some other person in future too.
And about Taehyung? It's a no for him.
He doesn't want to be with the person anymore who ruined his soul!
He doesn't want to be happy with the person who broke his trust!
