Watching The Moon Part 1

The more I look at it, the more unhappy I get. It reminds me of how I needed to abandon my place to save myself from those awful and vil creatures. Humans at first impression might not seem evil, but when you get to know them, you wish you have never met them. They are usually around five or six feet tall. I am an elf, in an unknown forest, grabbing berries and trying to make fire with my blades. That's it. That's literally what I'm doing, trying to feed myself because of those horrible hornless mortals. Let me make myself clear. 

It all started a few days ago, when I was with my besties Lennira and Divid. They were twins and they always fought for who would win the next marble round. 

"If I win, you'll have to gather moonberries for me!" Lennira said "And from the purple ones! The blue ones are just, ew."

"Deal, but if I win you'll have to take out the trash for the next three weeks!" Divid accepted

Divid's skin was light blue as the sky. His hair was violet and wavy. Lennira's body was exactly the opposite; violet skin and blue wavy hair. Their eyes were pink. Elf twins can sometimes be confusing. And annoying. Specially annoying. 

"Can we just play?" I shouted "I'm getting bored of watching you two fight! Grab your marbles immediately!"

They both did and we started playing. They were both concentrated. However, thre was still a problem. They only focused on each other, they didn't care about me winning. They just wanted the other not to win. And, in three minutes, I already won. The twins were gaped.

"How did you win?" Lennira asked, shocked

"A profesional marble player never reveal their secrets" I winked my eye "Now, I hope I can enjoy my marble rounds with your mouths shut. You both have to do what the other asked you to do, congratulations on making the both of you work!"

I took all my marbles and inserted them in a bag I had. I was about to ask Lennira and Divid if they wanted a second round when my mother and the assassin gang came. My mom took me by my hand for no reason.

"Whaaaat areee youuu doiiiing!?" My mom was running, she didn't explain anything to me yet.

What am I supposed to think? If she, my mother, doesn't tell me anything, how am I supposed to react? Oh, she's taking me for a reason...NO! I'm not being informed about what's going on, there's no way I can react normally as if this was a normal situation. My mother entered my house, a dark blue one. Most houses are like this because is cheapest paint in my village. Finally, my mom and the assassin gang stopped running when they entered my house.

"Mother, what the heck is going on here?" I was confused "At least let me know if you're gonna take me by my...!"

I was interrupted my mom.

"Shhh!" My whispered "Let me explain everything, come here, follow me!"

We went out of my home. Seriously, we entered my home for nothing? Anyways, I was still not catching what was going on, my mom just tells me to follow her, I still don't understand what's happening!

We went into the forest. Half an hour later, we were in a little camp. There were some little tents. And teenagers sharpening their blades. Oh no, don't tell me...

"The assassin gang and I are going on a mission to the human kingdom" My mother explained "One of the teenagers cannot come because they're sick, so, you have to come with us"

"Mom, I would accept, but I barely know how to kill a bird, I mean, I don't even have a blade" I said

"Oh, you thought she wouldn't save the two sharpest blades in this village for you?" One of the elves said

My mom sighed, and handed me the two sharpest and most beautiful blades in the world. 

"You have high velocity and you're agile and specially smart and strong, you're perfect for this mission, we need and want you."

Okay, I felt complimented when my mother told me I was intelligent, but I don't know if I should accept this "special and important" mission. I needed to ask something.

"Can Lennira and Divid come with us?"

My mom looked confused 

"Do they know how to fight?" She asked

"They know powerful spells that can make a human sleep for three hours straight." I was sweating

"Ok, I'll make them come." she told something to an assassin of the group

The assassin started running like Naruto and a few minutes later she came taking the twins by their wrists. 

"Let me go you son of a...!" Divid was about to curse when he saw me with my brand new blades "Wait, what are you doing with those on your hands?"

"Questions are for later, anyways, would both of you want to become official mages to go on a mission to the human kingdom?"

"Ummm...Well...I..." Divid was hesitating "I don't know what to say..."

I hope Lennira and Divid accept, I can't live without them, I'd do anything for them.
