Chapter 19 the torture room

Hope was dragged into the room and thrown into a cage like a bird, she saw Lara being dragged in she was thrown in the cage identical to hers. The guards came into the cage they pulled Hope backward by the hands and attached her to chains at the top of the cage, they did the same to Lara, Hope's feet couldn't touch the floor and she was hanging by her hands she could feel her arms begin to be pulled out of there sockets. Lara was being pulled backward but she made more of a protest she began to scream and cry but the guards pulled her up however when they attached to the chains and left her to hang Lara passed out due to pain.

James and Daniel were dragged into the room both now shirtless, a woman walked into the room she had a midnight black bob and a blood red dress with a black corset that had rips in it and stains of questionable hues. She had a belt with several daggers and other weapons all around it she carried a thick whip in her left hand

"get out" her sharp voice said

"yes miss" said one of the guards before all the guards left

"you girl" she said walking up to the cage "these boys they matter to you? wouldn't want to see them get hurt wouldn't want me to injure them, severely" she said spitting when she pronounced the s in severely. Hope decided not to speak and instead just stared her down.

"i see so you won't care if i do this" she said going up to Daniel and attaching him to a wooden pillar before she struck him tenfold on the back. He whimpered like a puppy in pain.

"ah i see" the woman said slashing him again his back beginning to bleed.

Hope clenched her fist the anger she felt before beginning to surface.
"ooh someone's getting angry"

Hope's eyes began to turn red, the woman grabbed Hopes face. "Autumn, your friend what do you know about her where is she" she said

"do you really think i'd tell you" Hope said her voice airy and echoing, her eyes became a vivid shade of red " A witch, she's a witch" the woman yelled. Hope's hands began to fill with the red balls of magic again but they were brighter and spitting everywhere it began to hit Lara's hair and turn it red the cuffs melted around Hope hand the hot, dripping metal hitting the floor the woman grabbed her whip Hope broke through the cage floating upward.

The woman hit Hope in the face with her whip, it slashed her across the face but her face seemed to heal almost instantly the woman began to throw daggers at Hope each hitting her chest the melting and falling to the floor looking broken. Hope threw one of the balls of red light at her she dodged it. Hope wanted to hurt her, kill her, watch her suffer but she freed her friends first. She broke Daniel and James out of there cuffs. Hope approached Lara but guards burst it likely having heard the noise.

"get her" one of the guards towards the front said. Hope tried to grab Lara but Daniel dragged her back. James grabbed a sword of the side of the wall

"go" he yelled "i'll fight them off"

"but they'll kill you surely" Daniel said

"i don't care go" he yelled. Hope spotted a broom in the corner of the room she muttered a spell summoning the broom "Broomuse".

Her and Daniel hopped onto the broom and flew over the heads of the guards every one them trying to grab them or cut them but they made it through the crowd, just. Hope raced through the dark, candle lit castle dungeons she muttered "locketscoom". All the locks to the dungeons opened people began to race out of the cells ready to fight the guards. Hope saw Merlin running out of a little cage under the stairs she stopped the broom and allowed him to hop onto the back.

She was free, one of the window's of the castle was open she flew out of the castle towards the sea as she left she heard a blood curdling scream, Lara's blood curdling scream.
